The present invention relates to a communication device and a method for displaying the abnormal signal. More specifically, the present invention relates to an industrial control device capable of communication, such as a programmable logic controller (PLC) used in an industrial field, and to receive a signal through communication with another device, for example, another PLC, a PC, or another communication module. When the abnormal signal of the normal level or more is detected, the present invention relates to a communication device and an abnormal signal display method for displaying an external signal so that an operator of an industrial device can easily recognize whether an abnormal signal has occurred.
