Abstract
Description
본원은 슬라이드 코팅(slide coating) 방법을 이용하는 3 차원 다공성 구조체의 제조 방법, 상기 방법에 의해 제조되는 상기 3 차원 다공성 구조체, 및 상기 3 차원 다공성 구조체의 용도에 관한 것이다.
The present application relates to a method for producing a three-dimensional porous structure using a slide coating method, the three-dimensional porous structure produced by the method, and the use of the three-dimensional porous structure.
일반적으로 광결정(photonic crystal)이란 빛의 일정한 진동수(frequency) 범위의 전달을 억제하는 밴드갭(band gap)을 가지는 주기적 유전체 구조를 말한다. 광결정에 관한 연구는 1987년 미국의 물리학자들이 빛의 파장 크기 수준의 주기로 굴절률이 반복되는 결정구조를 만들면, 특정 파장의 빛을 완전히 배제 또는 반사시킬 수 있음을 주장하면서 시작되었다. In general, a photonic crystal refers to a periodic dielectric structure having a band gap that suppresses the transmission of a constant frequency range of light. The study of photonic crystals began in 1987 when American physicists insisted that a crystal structure with repeated refractive indices at a wavelength level of light could completely exclude or reflect light at a particular wavelength.
The ideal photonic crystal structure is theoretically very attractive because it has very attractive characteristics such as optical amplification, control, and selective reflection, but it has been attracting attention in various fields of application, but in fact, there are many difficulties in fabricating such a structure. Currently active. Conventionally, as a method of forming a photonic crystal, one-, two-, or three-dimensional photonic crystal structures may be manufactured using lithography or self-assembly, and the photonic crystal structure (for example, an inverse opal structure) may be formed. Representative methods of manufacturing include a method of preparing a sacrificial particle template in various ways, injecting a functional material precursor into a gap between the molds, and then reacting and removing the sacrificial particles. This method is difficult to manufacture the photonic crystal structure due to the difficulty of precursor injection and by-products generated during the reaction of the precursor. In addition, there is a method of synthesizing the functional particles to a nanoscale size and then injected into the sacrificial particle template, the photonic crystal structure made by this method is relatively perfect, but the injection between the sacrificial particles is more difficult, the production time is very long.
광결정 구조의 다양한 활용에 거는 큰 기대와는 달리 원초적인 광결정 구조의 제작 방법에 대한 많은 지적들이 아직 해결되지 않았으며, 보다 완벽하고 비교적 간단한 광결정 제작 방법이 필요하다.
Contrary to the high expectations for various applications of the photonic crystal structure, many points on the method of fabricating the photonic crystal structure have not been solved yet, and a more complete and relatively simple photonic crystal manufacturing method is needed.

As the method for injecting the nanoparticle-sacrificate particle dispersion, a method commonly used in the art may be used without limitation as long as the dispersion is injected in a predetermined amount and a method of controlling the degree of injection can be performed.
In one embodiment, the rate of filling the dispersion for the continuous coating process can be adjusted in consideration of the consumption rate of the dispersion. More specifically, the consumption ratio of the dispersion may consider the space surrounded by the upper substrate, the lower substrate, and the spacer, and the moving speed of the upper substrate. In one embodiment, a syringe pump with a diameter of about 4 mm exhibits a discharge rate of about 20 μl / min, when the upper substrate is pulled at a rate of about 20 μm / s, which is a glass substrate. It can be seen that the coating is suitable for coating a colloidal crystalline film about 1 cm wide and about 10 μm thick.
상기 슬라이드 코팅 시, 스페이서의 두께, 상부 기판의 이동 속도, 용매의 건조 정도를 조절하여, 및/또는 나노입자-희생입자 복합층의 두께를 조절할 수 있으며, 이후 상기 희생입자를 제거하는 공정에 의해 형성되는 3 차원 다공성 구조체의 두께를 조절할 수 있다. When the slide coating, the thickness of the spacer, the moving speed of the upper substrate, the degree of drying of the solvent may be adjusted, and / or the thickness of the nanoparticle-sacrificial particle composite layer may be adjusted, and then, by removing the sacrificial particles. The thickness of the three-dimensional porous structure to be formed can be adjusted.
When the nanoparticle-sacrificial particle dispersion is injected into a space surrounded by the spacer between the lower substrate and the upper substrate, a nanoparticle-sacrificial particle composite layer or three-dimensional porosity formed by slide coating according to the thickness of the spacer The thickness of the structure is determined. The spacer may have a thickness of about 1 μm to about 200 μm, and if necessary, may be selected within the above range.
The moving speed of the upper substrate may be about 0.1 cm / h to about 10 cm / h, and the upper substrate may be moved at a constant speed by means of constantly adjusting the pulling speed, for example, a pump. . 4 is a graph showing the relationship between the moving speed of the upper substrate and the thickness of the nanoparticle-sacrificial particle composite layer. Referring to FIG. 4, when the moving speed of the upper substrate is fast, the thickness of the nanoparticle-sacrificial particle composite layer becomes thin, and when the upper substrate moves slowly, the thickness of the nanoparticle-sacrificial particle composite layer is also thick. Lose.
In one embodiment, the surface of the upper substrate may be coated with a hydrophobic material. When the hydrophobic material is coated on the surface of the upper substrate, it is possible to prevent the bubble (bubble) that worsens the evenness (evenness) of the nanoparticle-sacrificial particle composite layer that may occur during the slide coating. In addition, the upper substrate coated with the hydrophobic material may prevent the nanoparticle-sacrificial particle dispersion from being inadvertently absorbed into the upper substrate when coated.
일 구현예에서, 상기 하부 기판은 그의 표면이 친수성 물질로 코팅되어 있을 수 있다. 상기 친수성 물질이 코팅된 하부 기판은 친수성 나노입자와의 접착력이 강해짐으로써, 상기 상부 기판의 이동 시에 형성되는 상기 나노입자-희생입자 복합층의 탈리를 방지할 수 있다.In one embodiment, the lower substrate may be coated on its surface with a hydrophilic material. The lower substrate coated with the hydrophilic material has strong adhesion to the hydrophilic nanoparticles, thereby preventing detachment of the nanoparticle-sacrificial particle composite layer formed when the upper substrate is moved.
Nanoparticle Synthesis Step
솔-젤(sol-gel)법에 의해 기본적으로 산화티탄 입자를 만들고, 펩티제이션(peptization)에 의해 산화티탄 나노입자를 완성된 후 수열합성(hydrothermal treatment)에 의해 상기 나노입자의 결정성과 굴절률을 증가시키는 방법으로 산화티탄 나노입자를 합성하였다.Titanium oxide particles are basically made by the sol-gel method, and titanium oxide is produced by peptization. Titanium oxide is a method of increasing the crystallinity and refractive index of the nanoparticles by hydrothermal treatment after the nanoparticles are completed Nanoparticles were synthesized.
As a specific synthesis method, first, titanium isopropoxide was added to DI water to make bulk titanium oxide particles. After the bulk titanium oxide particles were washed several times by centrifugation, tetramethylammonium hydroxide was added as a peptizing agent, and then, at 80 ° C., by strong stirring in a sealed container. Peptidation reactions occurred. The titanium oxide nanoparticles produced by the reaction could maintain transparency. Then the titanium oxide The titanium oxide in a bomb-reactor to increase the crystallinity and refractive index of the nanoparticles The nanoparticle dispersion was added and hydrothermally synthesized for 1 to 4 hours. Titanium oxide nanoparticles synthesized by the above method are about 8 nm to about 30 nm in size, and the size of the nanoparticles is fairly uniform and well dispersed in an aqueous solution by scanning electron microscopy (Scanning Electron Microscopy). It was confirmed as 6. In addition, as the hydrothermal synthesis time increases, the crystallinity and nanoparticle size of the nanoparticles increased. Also synthesized titanium oxide It was found that the nanoparticles were synthesized as an anatase crystal phase as shown in FIG. 7 by X-ray diffraction experiment.
희생입자 합성 단계Sacrificial Particle Synthesis Step
희생입자로서 폴리스타이렌(polystyrene, PS)이 합성되었으며, 계면활성제에 의한 유화중합으로 합성되었다. Polystyrene (polystyrene, PS) was synthesized as a sacrificial particle, and was synthesized by emulsion polymerization with a surfactant.
As a specific synthetic method, nitrogen was blown into the water for about 1 hour to eliminate oxygen in the water as much as possible. Thereafter, potassium dosyl sulfate (SODS) as an initiator and sodium dodecylsulfate (SDS) as a surfactant were dissolved in the prepared water by varying from 0.3 mg to 4 mg. A styrene monomer was added to the reaction vessel in which the water, the initiator, and the surfactant were stirred. After about 14 hours of reaction, the mixed solution was filtered through cotton wool to remove impurities, and then washed several times using centrifugation. Polystyrene particles of different sizes (180 nm to 500 nm) synthesized by the above method were identified as shown in FIG. 8 by scanning electron microscopy, showing that they were synthesized as spherical particles having a fairly uniform particle size. As the dosage of the surfactant increases, it was found that the size of the resulting sacrificial particles increased. In addition, referring to FIG. 9, when the sodium dodecylsulfate (SDS) used as the surfactant was changed, the absorption wavelength and the reflectance were different.
