Recently, devices with a touch screen are in the spotlight. In the case of the touch screen, there is an advantage in that dragging is easy and simple on the screen. When the advantages of the touch screen are applied to character input, character input is possible by dragging.
The present inventors have made use of the advantages of the touch screen to study a technology for inputting characters on the touch screen more intuitively and easily in a text system including consonants and vowels such as Korean.
The present invention has been invented under the above-described object, and an object of the present invention is to provide a character input device and method for a device having a touch screen that can input characters on a touch screen more intuitively and easily in a character system including consonants and vowels.
