Abstract

PURPOSE: A natural plant oil composition containing rose oil and jasmine oil is provided to quickly relieve dysmenorrheal. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing natural plant oil comprises: a step of diluting 0.1-1% of rose oil to rice oil in a level of 5%; a step of diluting 0.1-1% of jasmine oil to jojoba oil and perfuming for 24 hours or more; and a step of mixing the rose oil and jasmine oil with essential oil containing lavender, eucalyptus and tea tree. The essential oil is contained in 20-30 weight% based on total weight.

생리통은 여성에게서 월경기간 혹은 전후에 나타나는 하복부 통증 또는 요통을 말한다. 이와 함께 복부 팽만, 설사, 변비 등이 부수적으로 나타난다. 생리통은 가임 여성의 약 50%에서 나타나는 아주 흔한 부인과 질환이다. 생리통의 원인에 관하여는 여러 이론들이 있는데 그 중 가장 유력한 이론은 생리 중 떨어져 나오는 자궁내막세포에서 통증유발 물질인 프로스타글란딘(prostaglandin)이라는 물질이 분비되는데, 이 물질이 생리통의 발생 기전에서 제일 중요한 역할을 하는 물질로 생각되고 있다. 이 물질은 자궁 수축을 유발하여 떨어져 나온 자궁내막조직을 자궁 밖으로 배출하도록 하는데, 이 과정에서 일시적으로 조직에 산소가 부족하게 되어 쥐어짜는 양상의 통증이 발생하게 된다. 증상의 경감을 위해서 아스피린, 아세트아미노펜, 이부프로펜 등을 사용하여 통증을 완화하는 방법이 있는데, 아세트아미노펜의 경우, 권장량 이상 복용시 간 또는 신장 손상의 부작용을 일으키며, 다른 약물을 동시에 사용하는 경우에도 부작용이 발생할 수 있어 새로운 안전한 천연요법 개발이 요구되고 있다. 또 다른 방법은 황체형성 단계에서 프로게스테론을 투여하거나 멜라토닌 세로토닌과 같은 호르몬요법을 사용할 수 있으나 이는 직접투여하는 그 안전성을 확신할 수 없고 단가도 높아 상시 사용할 수 없다. 이에 이 발명에서는 로즈와 자스민을 각기 다른 희석오일에 발향을 하는 1차 단계를 거치고 직접도포의 자극을 완화하기 위하여 라벤더와 티트리 그리고 유칼립투스등 직접도포가 가능한 에센셜오일을 브랜딩하는데 로즈와 자스민은 각각 1%미만으로 구성하여야 하며, 특히 로즈는 앱솔루트(용매추출법으로 얻어진오일)을 사용하지 않고 로즈 오또(증류법으로 얻어진 오일)을 사용하여 안전성을 제고 하여야한다. 로즈와 자스민을 희석하였으나 향과 효과를 오랫동안 지속시키기 위해서는 다른 에센셜오일의 농도는 높여야 한다. 따라서 로즈오일과 자스민을 제외한 에센셜오일의 농도의 합이 최소30%~50%이어야 하며 이중에 위의 3가지 라벤더, 티트리, 그리고 유칼립투스의 농도의 합이 60%이상이어야 한다. 이는 향수의 부향율과 지속시간의 관계를 살펴보면, 20~30%인 퍼퓸이 10시간, 오드퍼퓸이 10~20%일때 5시간,등으로 떨어지는 것을 볼수 있는데 하루종일 24시간 동안 지속되도록 하기 위해서 30%이상으로 구성하되 피부에 도포됨으로 안전성을 고려하여야 하고, 또한 향수제조시에는 알콜을 사용하지만, 베이스가 천연오일임으로 좀더 깊은향이 오랫동안 지속될 수 있도록 하였다. 에센셜 오일의 브랜딩은 그 순서와 방법에 따라 전혀 다른 향과 효과를 가지기도 하는데 주요한 기능을 할 수 있는 성분이 로즈와 자스민임으로 둘을 먼저 희석오일에 24시간이상 발향시킨후 나머지 오일을 브랜딩하고 이후에 혼합하여야 이 발명에서 원하는 효과를 볼 수 있다.

상기 표들로 부터 알 수 있는 바와 같이, 본 발명의 조성물은 생리통의 주요증상에 대하여 모두 효과가 있으며, 특히 불쾌한 냄새 제거에 탁월함을 알 수 있다. 또한 냉증과 관련해서는 증상이 매우 뚜렷하게 개선됨을 보여주었다.
