Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a method for producing a hot-dip galvanized steel sheet having an excellent surface appearance for a steel sheet. More specifically, the present invention is to spray the solution and pure water (deminerized water, demi-water) during the solution injection treatment so that precipitation of phosphate is prevented in the solution spraying device and thus a hot dip galvanized steel sheet without phosphate precipitates is obtained. It relates to a hot-dip galvanized steel sheet manufacturing method.
In general, a galvanized steel sheet is passed through a hot dip galvanizing solution and the hot dip zinc coated on the steel sheet is solidified to produce a galvanized steel sheet. Upon solidification of the molten zinc adhered to the steel sheet, coarse grains called dendritic spangles are formed on the surface of the molten zinc plated layer. These coarse spangles are formed due to the coagulation properties of zinc. In other words, when zinc solidifies, dendrite in the form of tree branches grows very rapidly at the beginning of coagulation nuclei to form a skeleton of the plating structure, and then unsolidified melt remaining between the dendrites. The zinc pool solidifies and the solidification reaction ends, resulting in the formation of spangles. In other words, the size of the spangle depends on the size of the skeleton of the plated tissue determined in the initial stage of zinc solidification.
Due to such spangles, the adhesion of the paint to the surface of the coating layer and the corrosion resistance of the steel sheet are poor, and surface irregularities caused by the spangles are not removed even after coating, and thus the spangles are visible through the paint, so that the surface appearance of the steel sheet is poor. Therefore, in order to minimize the size of the spangles formed on the hot-dip galvanized steel sheet, a solution (water or inorganic salt solution) is sprayed before the hot-dip zinc is attached and solidified. On the other hand, the solution is sprayed toward the steel sheet through the electrode provided on the nozzle front. By spraying the solution through the electrode, since the solution droplets exhibit static electricity and adhere to the steel sheet by electrical attraction, the adhesion efficiency can be improved and the plating structure can be reduced.
As the solution of the inorganic salt, a phosphate solution is generally used. Hereinafter, the apparatus used for spraying the solution to the steel sheet for minimizing the spangle size of the hot-dip galvanized steel sheet is referred to as a 'solution spraying device'.
On the other hand, the solution injection nozzle width in the solution injection device is adjusted according to the width of the steel sheet to which the solution is injected. That is, the solution is not injected from the side nozzle, which is a nozzle outside the nozzle corresponding to the steel sheet edge, depending on the type of steel strip. In this case, the electrode in the nozzle front portion where the solution is not sprayed is dried, and thus the phosphate solution attached to the electrode is dried and precipitated and fixed to the electrode in powder form. As the solution begins to form at the electrode close to the nozzle to which no jet is sprayed, it grows toward the electrode at the center of the strip (the electrode corresponding to the nozzle front of the center) and the precipitate mass grows. In addition, phosphate precipitates accumulate in the nozzle. As described above, in the solution injector, when phosphate is used for a long time, phosphate precipitates and adheres to the electrode to form phosphate precipitates. When spraying solution and air using the solution spraying device in which the phosphate precipitate is formed, the precipitate adhered to the electrode is adsorbed on the steel strip in powder form, so that the drop mark, fitting mark, etc. on the surface of the hot-dip galvanized steel sheet Cause defects.
Therefore, there is a need for a method for producing a hot-dip galvanized steel sheet in which adsorption of phosphate precipitates on the steel sheet as described above is prevented.

In the solution injection device 6 having such a structure, the solution injected from the
On the other hand, when the solution is sprayed in the solution spraying device as described above, the width of the nozzle for spraying the solution depends on the width of the steel sheet to be sprayed solution. That is, the solution is not injected from the side nozzle, which is a nozzle outside the nozzle corresponding to the steel sheet edge portion, depending on the type of steel sheet strip. In this case, the
In the method according to the present invention, by injecting pure water together with the phosphate solution in the solution spraying step of the conventional hot-dip galvanized steel sheet manufacturing method, the phosphate precipitation in the solution spray device is prevented, and thus the phosphate precipitate on the steel sheet by the solution spray treatment Adsorption of is prevented.
In one embodiment of the present invention, one or more nozzles located at the outermost side of the plurality of nozzles arranged in a direction perpendicular to the steel plate traveling direction is applied to the solution treatment step of spraying pure water and the remaining nozzle sprays a phosphate solution Provided is a method for manufacturing a hot dip galvanized steel sheet. As such, the spraying treatment in which pure water is injected from the outermost nozzle and the phosphate solution is sprayed from the remaining nozzles is referred to as a 'steel plate processing mode'. By spraying the solution on the steel sheet in such a steel sheet treatment mode, precipitation of phosphates on the nozzles and electrodes of the solution spraying device, specifically, the solution spraying device, is prevented, thereby obtaining a hot-dip galvanized steel sheet on which the phosphate precipitate is not adsorbed. The nozzle located at the outermost part is understood to include a nozzle located outside the nozzle corresponding to the steel sheet edge portion, it is referred to as a 'side nozzle' for convenience.
More specifically, pure water is sprayed from a nozzle (side nozzle) positioned outside the nozzle corresponding to the steel sheet edge portion according to the width of the steel sheet to be solution sprayed, and phosphate solution is sprayed from the remaining nozzles corresponding to the steel sheet portion. Therefore, the area of the pure spray nozzle can be adjusted according to the change of the steel plate width to be solution sprayed.
On the other hand, a solution spray device used for simultaneously performing pure spraying at the side nozzles and phosphate solution spraying at nozzles other than the side nozzles is provided by another embodiment of the present invention. That is, one or more pure spray nozzles located in the vicinity of the nozzle corresponding to the edge portion of the steel sheet; And one or more solution or pure water spray nozzles corresponding to the steel sheet portion, wherein the nozzle is a solution spraying device for a steel sheet with hot-dip galvanized metal arranged vertically with respect to the steel sheet traveling direction according to one embodiment of the present invention. Is provided. In addition, the solution injection value may further include an electrode in front of the pure injection nozzle and the solution injection nozzle. The solution spraying device is a general method for manufacturing a hot-dip galvanized steel sheet, after the hot-dip zinc is attached to the steel sheet, in order to minimize the formation of spangles due to the solidification of the hot-dip zinc, a solution, specifically, It may be a device for spraying a phosphate solution. Phosphates in the phosphate solution are not limited thereto, but phosphates generally known to be used in the art as described above can be used, for example monoammonium phosphate ((NH 4 ) (H 2 PO 4 ) ), Diammonium phosphate ((NH 4 ) 2 (HPO 4 )), calcium ammonium phosphate, sodium ammonium phosphate and the like. 3 is a schematic view of a solution spray apparatus provided by an embodiment of the present invention.
The
In this way, pure water is injected through one or more pure
On the other hand, the pure spray nozzle area of the nozzle may vary depending on the width of the steel sheet to be solution sprayed. That is, since the solution only needs to be sprayed on the steel sheet portion, the phosphate solution is sprayed on the nozzle 32p corresponding to the steel sheet portion during the solution spraying process and corresponds to the
In another embodiment, not all of the side nozzle portions indicated by DS in FIG. 3 are to be sprayed with pure water, and the wettability of the electrodes is also maintained by spraying pure water from the outermost nozzle so that the wettability of the electrode is maintained. Precipitation of phosphate is prevented.
The
Furthermore, during steel sheet treatment, by applying the cleaning mode described below together with the 'steel sheet treatment mode' described above, the phosphate precipitates deposited in the solution spraying apparatus are periodically washed and removed so that the solution spraying operation can be continued without interrupting the solution spraying operation. Can be sprayed.
That is, during the solution spraying process, the steel plate joint is sprayed with pure water from all the nozzles of the solution spraying device to the steel sheet (hereinafter, the process of spraying pure water from all the nozzles of the solution spraying device is referred to as a 'washing mode'). Method of manufacturing hot-dip galvanized steel sheet in which one or more nozzles located in the outermost part of the plurality of nozzles arranged in the direction perpendicular to the steel plate traveling direction inject the pure water and the other nozzles inject the phosphate solution (steel plate processing mode) This is provided.
In the washing mode, the pure water may be sprayed for about 1 to 7 minutes to wash off the hydrochloride precipitate. If the pure water spray time is less than 1 minute, the phosphate precipitates are not sufficiently removed, and if the pure water spray time is more than 7 minutes, the spray time of pure water instead of the solution spray is longer, which is not preferable in that the loss of usable steel sheet produced as a product increases.
4 shows a cleaning mode in which pure water is sprayed onto a steel plate joint in a method of manufacturing a galvanized steel sheet by a solution spray treatment that selectively performs a cleaning mode and a steel plate treatment mode according to a portion of the steel sheet.
In the steel plate processing mode described above, pure steel spraying from the side nozzles and phosphate solution spraying from nozzles other than the side nozzles are simultaneously performed on the steel sheet without the steel plate fittings, and pure water is sprayed from all the nozzles 42 at the steel plate joints. In the phosphate solution injection and pure water injection, air is injected together from the nozzle 42 as shown in FIG. 4. The nozzle 42 may be a two-fluid injection nozzle. The charging
As such, by removing pure phosphate precipitates by spraying pure water from all nozzles at the steel plate joints, the solution spraying step for the steel sheet can be continuously performed since there is no need to interrupt the solution spraying process to remove the phosphate precipitates as in the prior art. . Furthermore, not only the formation of phosphate precipitates is prevented, but also, the phosphate precipitates formed in the solution spraying apparatus are periodically washed so that a clean state free of phosphate precipitates in the nozzles and electrodes of the solution spraying apparatus is maintained, and thus the phosphate precipitates are A hot dip galvanized steel sheet which is not adsorbed is obtained.

On the other hand, when the steel plate joint passes through the
The solution spray treatment of the steel sheet by the method of Inventive Example 2 not only prevents phosphate precipitation from the nozzle and the electrode, but also precipitates the phosphate precipitates periodically so that the surface of the hot-dip galvanized steel sheet obtained by the above method has a drop mark or A hot dip galvanized steel sheet having excellent surface appearance was obtained without surface defects such as fitting marks.

On the other hand, since the phosphate precipitates are removed by spraying pure water before and after the discarded steel plate joint, it is not necessary to stop the solution spraying operation to remove the phosphate precipitates from the solution spraying device. Thereby, solution spraying can be carried out to a steel plate continuously.
