Abstract
본 발명은 셀로판과 이(易)커트성 플라스틱 필름을 첩합(貼合)시킨 적층 필름을 바깥층으로 하고, 안층을 형성하는 핫멜트를 코트한 적층체로 되는, 제조관리와 보관관리가 용이하며, 내용물인 블록치즈 등의 식품을 커트할 때, 모든 방향으로 양호한 잘림성(커트성)을 갖는 포장재료에 관한 것이다.
Description
본 발명은 블록치즈, 양갱, 우이로우(쌀가루에 흑설탕 등을 넣어 찐 일본과자) 등, 식칼이나 나이프로 잘라 나누는 식품의 밀착포장에 적합한 포장용 적층체에 관한 것이다.
또한, 본 발명은 모든 방향으로 식칼이나 나이프로 잘라 나눌 수 있는 잘림성(커트성)이 양호한 포장용 적층체에 관한 것이다.
더욱 상세하게는, 본 발명은 바깥층이 셀로판과 이(易)커트성 플라스틱 필름의 라미네이트 필름에 의해 형성되고, 안층이 핫멜트에 의해 형성되는 적층체인 것을 특징으로 하는 포장용 적층체에 관한 것이다.
또한, 본 발명에서는 안층이란 식품에 접하는 쪽의 층을 의미하고, 바깥층이란 바깥면에 노출되는 쪽의 층을 의미한다.
종래, 블록치즈 등의 식품의 포장재료로서, 식품측의 표면에 밀착성이 있는 열가소성 수지가 코트된 플라스틱 필름이나 셀로판이 사용되고, 식품의 표면에 외기가 접촉하지 않도록 밀착포장하는 기술이 알려져 있으며, 이러한 포장재료는, 판매유통 루트에서의 식품의 변질이나 곰팡이의 번식을 방지하여, 그 선도를 유지하기 위해서는 불가결한 소재로서 관용되고 있다.
또한, 식품을 직접적으로 포장하는 재료로서는, 방습가공 셀로판(염화비닐리덴 수지가 코트된 셀로판) 또는 플라스틱 필름에 알루미늄박을 라미네이트하고, 방수성, 방습성, 가스 배리어성 및 히트실링성을 부여하기 위해 수지나 왁스를 코팅한 것(특허문헌 1), 미세 구멍을 설치한, 플라스틱 필름이나 금속박 등의 가스 배리어 기재로 되는 바깥층과 왁스로 되는 안층의 적층 필름(특허문헌 2)이 사용되고 있다.
이러한 포장재료에 의해 포장된 식품은, 일반적으로 1회에 전부 다 먹는 경우는 적어, 음식을 먹기 위해 원하는 크기나 모양으로 커트한 블록의 형체로 보존되는 것이 보통으로, 이러한 식품을 포장하는 포장재료는, 보존성은 물론, 식칼이나 나이프로의 잘림성(커트성)이 우수한 것이 요구되고 있다.

현재, 시판되고 있는 블록치즈 등의 식품을 포장하는 재료로서는, 셀로판 단층 구성인 것이 대부분이나, 이러한 셀로판 단층구성의 경우에는, 식품으로의 밀착성은 좋으나, 가혹한 운반 충격력이 가해진 경우, 포장재료에 핀홀이 발생할 가능성이 높다. 또한, 플라스틱에 알루미늄박을 라미네이트한 것에 대해서는, 제조공정에서의 금속탐지기가 양호하게 작동하지 않는 등의 문제가 있었다. 한편, 이 문제를 개선하기 위해, 포장재료의 일부 또는 전부에 플라스틱 필름을 사용했을 때는, 식칼이나 나이프로의 잘림성이 손상되어, 상품가치가 상실된다는 과제가 있었다.
또한, 상온 가압 실링을 하기 위해 식품에 밀착되는 쪽의 표면에 핫멜트가 70~130 g/㎡ 코트되어 있기 때문에, 코트면의 점성이 필요 이상으로 높아져, 이러한 포장재료를 롤형상으로 상온 보존한 경우, 사용하기 전에 필름 자체가 블로킹을 일으키기 쉬워져, 사용 전의 작업성에 문제가 있었다.
이에, 사용 전의 보존시에 필름끼리의 블로킹을 방지하기 위해, 필름 제조시에 콘스타치를 도포하는 동시에, 포장재료를 냉장 보존할 필요가 있었으나, 포장재료 표면으로의 콘스타치의 사용은, 제조시에 가루가 날려 공정 관리가 어려워진다는 문제가 있었다.
또한, 필름이 블로킹되지 않도록 열용융 왁스를 얇게 코트하고자 하면 도공열(塗工熱)에 의해 포장재료가 수축된다는 문제도 있었다.
블록치즈의 포장재료에 관한 발명에 대해서는, 특허문헌 1 및 2에 보고되어 있는데, 특허문헌 1의 발명에는, 양호한 인열성은 한방향에만 보이기 때문에 작은 육면체형상 등으로 잘라 사용하는 것은 불가능하고, 또한, 포장재료 표면에 핫멜트를 40 g/㎡ 이상 도포하기 때문에, 제조관리와 보존관리가 어렵다고 하는 문제가 있었다. 또한, 특허문헌 2의 발명은, 모든 방향으로 양호한 잘림성(커트성)을 갖지만, 필름에 이커트성을 부여하기 위해 시행되고 있는 미세 구멍의 크기에 따라서는 물리적 강도가 저하되어, 라미네이트, 왁스 코팅 등의 2차가공이 곤란해진다는 문제가 있다.
이러한 문제를 해결하여, 모든 방향으로 잘림성(커트성)이라는 바람직한 물성을 가지면서, 생산관리와 보존관리가 용이하다는 양 특성을 겸비한 포장재료가 요망되고 있다.
본 발명에서는, 바깥층에 이커트성 플라스틱 필름과 셀로판을 라미네이트한 적층 필름을 사용함으로써, 모든 방향으로 양호한 식칼이나 나이프로의 잘림성(커트성)을 갖고, 또한, 제조시의 포장재료의 열수축이나 파단이 적으며, 내핀홀성이 우수한 포장용 적층체를 얻을 수 있어, 본 발명에 도달하였다.
또한, 본 발명의 포장용 적층체는 히트실링하는 것을 전제로 하여, 식품에 접하는 쪽의 안층으로서의 핫멜트의 코트량을 10~40 g/㎡ 정도로 하고, 추가적으로 포장재료 자체의 블로킹을 방지하기 위한 콘스타치를 사용하지 않는 것으로 하여, 포장재료 제조시의 생산관리와 보존관리를 용이하게 하는 것이 가능해졌다.
본 발명의 포장용 적층체는, 셀로판을 기재로 하고, 여기에 이커트성 플라스틱 필름을 첩합(貼合)시킴으로써, 모든 방향으로 양호한 식칼이나 나이프로의 잘림성(커트성)을 유지하면서, 포장재료 제조시의 열수축이나 파단이 적으며, 또한 내핀홀성이 우수하다.
또한, 본 발명에서는 콘스타치를 사용할 필요가 없기 때문에, 포장재료의 품질관리가 용이해지고, 냉장 보존의 필요성도 없어져, 생산의 효율화를 도모하는 것이 가능하다.
이상의 물성 개선으로부터, 본 발명의 포장재료는 모든 방향으로 양호한 식칼이나 나이프로의 잘림성(커트성)을 가지면서, 핀홀의 발생율을 저하시킬 수 있기 때문에, 블록치즈 등의 식품의 포장용으로서 최적이다.

실시예
다음으로, 본 발명의 상세에 대해서, 실시예의 도면을 토대로 설명한다.
도 1은 종래의 포장재료의 구성을 나타내는 확대 단면도이고, 도 2 및 도 3은 본 발명의 실시예에 있어서의 포장재료의 구성을 나타내는 확대 단면도이며, 도 4는 본 발명의 실시예에 있어서의 포장품의 식칼로의 잘림성(커트성) 테스트의 사시도이다.
종래의 포장재료는, 도 1에 나타내는 바와 같이, 셀로판(1)을 기재로 하고, 블록치즈 등의 식품에 접하는 쪽의 표면에 접착성이 있는 핫멜트(2)가 코트되며, 추가적으로, 그 위에 블로킹 방지재료로서 콘스타치(3)가 도포되어, 블로킹이 방지되도록 되어 있다.
이에 대해, 본 발명의 실시예에 있어서의 포장재료는, 도 2에 나타내는 바와 같이, 셀로판(1)을 기재로 하고, 블록치즈 등의 식품에 접하는 쪽의 면에 이커트성 플라스틱 필름(4)이 라미네이트되며, 추가적으로, 그 위에 접착성이 있는 핫멜트(2)가 코트된 적층체로 되어 있다.
본 발명에서 사용하는 이커트성 플라스틱 필름(4)은, 단층 구조물로도 복층 구조물로도 사용은 가능하나, 특히 3층 구조로 되는 적층체를 사용하는 것이 바람직하며, 또한 중간층을 부서지기 쉽게 변질시킨 것이 최적이다. 이러한 성질을 갖는 이커트성 플라스틱 필름으로서는, 폴리에스테르의 연신 필름이 적당하다.
또한, 본 발명의 포장재료에 있어서의 핫멜트(2)를 구성하는 열가소성 수지로서는, 에틸렌 비닐 알코올, 파라핀 왁스, 마이크로크리스탈린 왁스 등이 적당하다.
실시예 1로서, 핫멜트 10~40 g/㎡를, (A) 복층 구조로 되고 중간층에 물리적으로 부서지기 쉬운 층을 갖는 폴리에스테르 필름과 (B) 방습 셀로판을 라미네이트한 적층 필름의 상기 (A) 폴리에스테르 필름측에 롤코터를 사용하여 코팅한 것을 제작하여, 물성 평가 및 식칼로의 잘림성(커트성)의 실험을 행하였다.
실시예 2로서, 핫멜트 10~40 g/㎡를, (A) 필름 표면에 기계적으로 흠집을 내서 물리적으로 부서지기 쉽게 한 폴리에스테르 필름과 (B) 방습 셀로판을 라미네이트한 적층 필름의 상기 (A) 폴리에스테르 필름측에 롤코터를 사용하여 코팅한 것을 제작하여, 물성 평가 및 식칼로의 잘림성(커트성)의 실험을 행하였다.
또한, 비교예로서, 종래부터 식칼로의 잘림성(커트성)이 양호한 포장재료인 것이 알려져 있는 염화비닐리덴 수지를 코트한 셀로판의 편면에 상기 열용융 왁스 100 g/㎡를 도포한 것을 제작하여, 물성 평가 및 식칼로의 잘림성(커트성)의 실험을 행하였다.
각 포장재료에 블록형상의 프로세스치즈 225 g을 포장하고, 20대~50대의 남녀 10명을 대상으로 하여, 식칼로의 잘림성(커트성)의 관능평가를 행하였다.
그 결과를 표 1에 나타낸다.
20대~50대의 남녀 10명을 대상으로 한 관능평가에서는, 실시예 1, 실시예 2 모두 비교예와 동일하게 TD 방향, MD 방향 모두 양호한 잘림성(커트성)으로 평가되었다.
또한, 실시예 1 및 실시예 2는 비교예에 비해 산소 투과도 및 수증기 투과도가 낮아 보존성이 우수한 것으로 생각된다.

Claims (4)
- 바깥층이 셀로판과 이(易)커트성 플라스틱 필름의 라미네이트 필름에 의해 형성되고, 안층이 핫멜트에 의해 형성되는 적층체인 것을 특징으로 하는 포장용 적층체.
- 제1항에 있어서,
바깥층을 형성하는 이커트성 플라스틱 필름의 재료가 폴리에스테르로 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 포장용 적층체. - 제1항에 있어서,
바깥층을 형성하는 이커트성을 갖는 플라스틱 필름의 재료가, 3층구조로 되고, 중간층에 물리적으로 부서지기 쉬운 층을 포함하는 폴리에스테르 및/또는 필름 표면에 기계적으로 흠집을 내서 물리적으로 부서지기 쉽게 한 폴리에스테르로 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 포장용 적층체. - 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
안층을 형성하는 핫멜트의 도포량이 10~40 g/㎡인 것을 특징으로 하는 포장용 적층체.
