Claims (5)
- 현재 매크로블록이 포함되는 현재 화상과는 다른 화상에 포함되어 있고, 상기 현재 매크로블록과 동일 위치에 있는 동일 위치 매크로블록의 움직임 벡터를 참조하여 상기 현재 매크로블록의 예측 화상을 생성하는 움직임 보상 방법으로서,상기 현재 매크로블록과 상기 동일 위치 매크로블록이 다른 사이즈로 움직임 보상되고, 움직임 보상이 실행된 복수의 블록으로 동일 위치 블록이 구성될 때, 상기 동일 위치 매크로블록의 모서리에 위치된 움직임 보상된 블록의 움직임 벡터를 구하는 단계로서, 상기 동일 위치 블록은 상기 현재 매크로블록에 포함된 현재 블록과 동일 위치에 있고 상기 동일 위치 매크로블록에 포함되는 것인, 단계;상기 구해진 움직임 벡터의 크기가 소정 범위 내인지 아닌지 판단하는 단계; 및상기 판단 단계의 결과에 기초하여 상기 현재 블록의 예측 화상을 생성하기 위해 상기 현재 블록에 대해 움직임 보상을 행하는 단계를 포함하며,상기 움직임 보상을 행하는 단계에서는,상기 구해진 움직임 벡터의 크기가 소정 범위 내일 때, 상기 현재 블록의 움직임 벡터를 "0"으로 설정하여 상기 현재 블록의 예측 화상이 생성되고,상기 구해진 움직임 벡터의 크기가 소정 범위 밖일 때, 상기 현재 매크로블록에 인접하여 위치하는 인접한 매크로블록의 움직임 벡터를 사용하여 상기 현재 블록의 움직임 벡터가 결정되고, 상기 현재 블록의 예측 화상은 상기 결정된 움직임 벡터를 사용하여 생성되는, 움직임 보상 방법.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,상기 현재 매크로블록과 상기 동일 위치 매크로블록의 크기가 16 픽셀 x 16 픽셀이고,상기 현재 블록의 크기가 8 픽셀 x 8 픽셀이고,상기 동일 위치 매크로블록에 포함되고, 움직임 보상이 행해진 복수의 블록의 각각의 크기는 4 픽셀 x 4 픽셀인, 움직임 보상 방법.
- 현재 매크로블록이 포함되는 현재 화상과는 다른 화상에 포함되어 있고, 상기 현재 매크로블록과 동일 위치에 있는 동일 위치 매크로블록의 움직임 벡터를 참조하여 상기 현재 매크로블록의 예측 화상을 생성하는 움직임 보상 장치로서,상기 현재 매크로블록과 상기 동일 위치 매크로블록이 다른 사이즈로 움직임 보상되고, 움직임 보상이 실행된 복수의 블록으로 동일 위치 블록이 구성될 때, 상기 동일 위치 매크로블록의 모서리에 위치된 움직임 보상된 블록의 움직임 벡터를 구하는 움직임 벡터 획득 유닛으로서, 상기 동일 위치 블록은 상기 현재 매크로블록에 포함된 현재 블록과 동일 위치에 있고 상기 동일 위치 매크로블록에 포함되는 것인, 움직임 벡터 획득 유닛;상기 구해진 움직임 벡터의 크기가 소정 범위 내인지 아닌지 판단하는 판단 유닛; 및상기 판단 유닛의 결과에 기초하여 상기 현재 블록의 예측 화상을 생성하기 위해 상기 현재 블록에 대해 움직임 보상을 행하는 움직임 보상 유닛을 포함하고,상기 움직임 보상 유닛에서는,상기 구해진 움직임 벡터의 크기가 소정 범위 내일 때, 상기 현재 블록의 움직임 벡터를 "0"으로 설정하여 상기 현재 블록의 예측 화상이 생성되고,상기 구해진 움직임 벡터의 크기가 소정 범위 밖일 때, 상기 현재 매크로블록에 인접하여 위치하는 인접한 매크로블록의 움직임 벡터를 사용하여 상기 현재 블록의 움직임 벡터가 결정되고, 상기 현재 블록의 예측 화상은 상기 결정된 움직임 벡터를 사용하여 생성되는, 움직임 보상 장치.
- 현재 매크로블록이 포함되는 현재 화상과는 다른 화상에 포함되어 있고, 상기 현재 매크로블록과 동일 위치에 있는 동일 위치 매크로블록의 움직임 벡터를 참조하여 상기 현재 매크로블록의 예측 화상을 생성하는 집적 회로로서,상기 현재 매크로블록과 상기 동일 위치 매크로블록이 다른 사이즈로 움직임 보상되고, 움직임 보상이 실행된 복수의 블록으로 동일 위치 블록이 구성될 때, 상기 동일 위치 매크로블록의 모서리에 위치된 움직임 보상된 블록의 움직임 벡터를 구하는 움직임 벡터 획득 유닛으로서, 상기 동일 위치 블록은 상기 현재 매크로블록에 포함된 현재 블록과 동일 위치에 있고 상기 동일 위치 매크로블록에 포함되는 것인, 움직임 벡터 획득 유닛;상기 구해진 움직임 벡터의 크기가 소정 범위 내인지 아닌지 판단하는 판단 유닛; 및상기 판단 유닛의 결과에 기초하여 상기 현재 블록의 예측 화상을 생성하기 위해 상기 현재 블록에 대해 움직임 보상을 행하는 움직임 보상 유닛을 포함하며,상기 움직임 보상 유닛에서는,상기 구해진 움직임 벡터의 크기가 소정 범위 내일 때, 상기 현재 블록의 움직임 벡터를 "0"으로 설정하여 상기 현재 블록의 예측 화상이 생성되고,상기 구해진 움직임 벡터의 크기가 소정 범위 밖일 때, 상기 현재 매크로블록에 인접하여 위치하는 인접한 매크로블록의 움직임 벡터를 사용하여 상기 현재 블록의 움직임 벡터가 결정되고, 상기 현재 블록의 예측 화상은 상기 결정된 움직임 벡터를 사용하여 생성되는, 집적 회로.
