Abstract
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to an air cleaner, and more particularly, to a wet air cleaner that improves the removal efficiency of dust and polluted gas contained in polluted air by using swirl flow and maintains a comfortable humidity.
In Korea, we have enacted indoor air quality control laws such as multi-use facilities, suggesting standards to be observed in public places, and measuring and maintaining them every year. However, most of them are still within the standard, and only subway stations and underground shopping centers are urgently needed. . However, to date, there is no technology applicable to such a multi-use facility. However, only the ventilation method using the air conditioner has been used as the only alternative.
Commercially available air purifiers can be used only for home or office use, so it is urgent to develop technology suitable for multi-use facilities. In a multi-use facility, it is best to install the prevention facilities at the rear of the air conditioner to remove harmful substances. However, there is no space for the installation of the prevention facilities at the rear of the air conditioner and there is no compatibility of the piping.
In addition, the existing air cleaner is a filter method, because the fine dust is so small particles (particles within 10㎛) size is usually used from 9 to up to 12 filters to remove them. As such, as many filters are used, maintenance is difficult, replacement cycles are difficult to remember, and they are often used without replacement. Even if the filter is replaced, the maintenance cost is high because of the large number of filters.
Further, according to the dry filter type air cleaner, particulate matter is caught by the filter and removed, but gaseous substances are so many types that they are not easily filtered by the filter. Therefore, chemicals such as deodorants and fungicides are added.
Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a wet air cleaner that improves the removal efficiency of dust and polluted gas contained in polluted air by using swirl flow and maintains a comfortable humidity.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a wet air purifier capable of absorbing and cleaning both particulate and gaseous substances contained in contaminated air.

Preferably, the side ends of the guide vanes may be connected in contact with the inner wall of the treatment tower.
In addition, a supply pump is installed in the water tank, and the cleaning liquid of the water tank is supplied to the spray nozzle by driving the supply pump.
Preferably, the water tank may be further provided with a monitoring window for checking the level of the cleaning liquid or monitoring the operation of the feed pump.
According to the above structure, by using the swirl flow and contacting the sprayed cleaning liquid it is possible to improve the removal efficiency of dust and polluted gas contained in the polluted air and to maintain a comfortable humidity.
It can be directly installed in a multi-use facility for the purpose of removing indoor harmful substances such as fine dust, odor and VOC by installing in a large floating population such as subway platform.
In addition, both the particulate and gaseous substances contained in the contaminated air can be absorbed and cleaned by wet.
By adjusting the number of treatment towers, large-capacity processing is possible, and movement and parts replacement are simple and easy to maintain.
Hereinafter, with reference to the accompanying drawings will be described an embodiment of the present invention.
1 is a block diagram showing a wet air purifier according to the present invention, Figure 2 is a perspective view showing a swirl flow generating unit applied to FIG.
The polluted air treated in the present invention is a room temperature, contains environmental pollutants and a large amount of dust, and contains both particulate and gaseous substances such as formaldehyde and MEK.
Referring to FIG. 1, the
At the upper ends of the
The swirl
Referring to FIG. 2, the swirl
Here, in the swirl
The operation of the air cleaner having the above structure will be described below.
When the contaminated air flows through the
Accordingly, the contaminated air has a centrifugal force, so that the dust particles contained in the contaminated air collide with the droplets and adhere to the droplets, or the particles are agglomerated with each other by the diffusion of the particles, or the particles are agglomerated with the humidity of the polluted gas, Vapor is condensed and adhered by making a particle into a nucleus, or it collects in the form which a particle contacts and adheres to a liquid film and a bubble.
In this way, as the contaminated air turns, the dust particles fall by the centrifugal force and collide with the droplets, and as the residence time becomes longer by turning, the dust and gas removal efficiency is improved.
Clean air from which dust and polluted gas have been removed is discharged to the outside through the
As described above, when applying a separate case surrounding the treatment tower, a duct leading from the
In the above description, the embodiments of the present invention have been described. However, various changes and modifications can be made by those skilled in the art.
In addition, the higher the spraying pressure and the smaller the droplets, the more effective the dust and pollutant gas treatment efficiency in the polluting gas. Therefore, the pump capacity can be appropriately selected to increase the cleaning liquid spraying pressure in the spray nozzle.
In addition, a liquid level detection sensor may be installed in the tank to detect the level of the cleaning liquid in the tank so as to supply the cleaning liquid when the liquid is lowered below the set level.
Therefore, the scope of the present invention should not be construed as being limited to the above embodiments, but should be interpreted based on the claims described below.
