Abstract

A method for managing digital contents is provided to enable a user to search digital contents effectively by generating description information and file information based on stored digital contents, and storing generated tag information, thereby matching the generated tag information with digital contents. A method for managing digital contents comprises the following steps. Description information is generated to classify the digital contents when the digital contents are stored. File information is generated to access to the stored digital contents. Tag information including the description information and the file information is generated. The tag information is stored to be matched with the digital contents.
