The present invention relates to a shock absorber, and more particularly, to a bumper rubber of a shock absorber that can prevent buckling during compression deformation.

The shock absorber serves to suppress and attenuate the vibration transmitted from the road surface to the vehicle body of the vehicle being driven, and in particular, by absorbing the up and down vibration energy of the vehicle body, improving the riding comfort, protecting the loaded cargo, and protecting each component of the vehicle. Contribute to protection

The shock absorber typically includes a cylinder, a piston slidably received within the cylinder, and a piston rod extending out of the cylinder while being connected to the piston. When such a conventional shock absorber is installed in a vehicle, the cylinder is generally fixed to the axle or wheel side and the piston rod is fixed to the vehicle body side.

The shock absorber may function to attenuate and mitigate vibrations and shocks transmitted from the road surface to the vehicle body while repeatedly compressing and rebounding the road when the vehicle travels on the road surface.

A conventional shock absorber that performs this function has a cylinder, and a piston and a piston rod for generating a damping force by linearly moving in the cylinder. The piston rod extends through from the inside of the cylinder to the outside, and a piston is provided at the inner end of the cylinder of the piston rod, and the outer end of the cylinder is usually fixed to the vehicle body side.

At this time, a bumper rubber is attached to the cylinder outer end of the piston rod fixed to the vehicle body side to prevent the upper end of the cylinder from directly contacting the vehicle body side and colliding when the shock absorber is completely compressed.

1 is a view showing only the upper portion of the shock absorber according to the prior art, that is, the coupling portion of the piston rod and the vehicle body side. As shown in FIG. 1, a threaded portion 103a is formed at a distal end of the piston rod 103 for engagement with a vehicle body (not shown), and a bumper at the lower side thereof to prevent collision between the vehicle body side and the cylinder 101. The rubber 110 is installed.

In addition, in the conventional shock absorber, a dust cover 104, a spring 105, and the like are provided outside the bumper rubber 110.

Due to the conventional bumper rubber 110 shown in FIG. 1, it was possible to prevent the upper end of the cylinder 101 directly colliding to the vehicle body side when the shock absorber was completely compressed, that is, contracted, but the bumper rubber 110 The compressive deformation causes buckling to interfere with components installed around it, or to satisfy load-strain characteristics or durability required by the designer.

To solve this problem, as shown in FIG. 2, the ring member 123 is fitted to the outer circumference of the body 121 of the bumper rubber 120 made of urethane or rubber to satisfy the required load-strain characteristics and durability. Bumper rubbers 120 have been proposed to prevent buckling during compression deformation.

However, since the conventional bumper rubber 120 is manufactured separately from the body 121 and the ring member 123, the body 121 must be separately compressed to assemble the ring member 123 to perform the work. This was a cumbersome and time consuming problem.

In addition, if the compressive deformation is repeated after long-term use, there is a problem that the separation between the body 121 and the ring member 123.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made to solve these problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a bumper rubber of a shock absorber that can be easily manufactured while preventing buckling during compression deformation by integrally molding a ring member. .
