A motion blur prevention device for television comprises a sensor(2), a microcomputer(3), and a panel driving part(5). The sensor detects the distance between a viewer and a panel(1). The microcomputer accesses driving data to a memory(4) and outputs a driving control signal. The panel driving part differentiates over driving degrees and displays the over driving degrees on the panel when playing a video having rapid motion according to the driving control signal of the microcomputer.
