A portable terminal is provided to use a cover made of a thin and strong metal material, thereby improving the external appearance as preventing deterioration of wireless property of the terminal by the metal material itself. A ground connection member(30) is installed on an inner side of the cover, is elastically contacted with the terminal body when the cover is mounted, and electrically connects a ground of the terminal body with the cover. The terminal body comprises a battery(13) and a card socket(50) disposed by being adjacent to the battery, respectively. The cover is formed to cover one side of the terminal body including the battery and the card socket.
