A trailing arm for a rear wheel of a vehicle is provided to enhance resistance of the trailing arm against transversal impact and twist force by installing an elastic member in a variable unit. A trailing arm for a rear wheel comprises a body(50) which is installed between a rear axle and a vehicle body. A mounting section is formed in one end side of the body, and the rear axle is coupled to the mounting section. A bushing(54) is installed at the other end side of the body to be coupled with the vehicle body. A variable section(56) is formed between the mounting section and the bushing so that the variable section is bent when a transversal force is applied thereto. An elastic member(70) is installed in the variable section to enhance the bending property of the variable section.
