Abstract

A perforating or embossing apparatus for sheet material is provided to perforate sheet material or emboss sheet material by injecting water or air to sheet material to press sheet material toward a molding roll with a plurality of pins or embossment. A perforating or embossing apparatus for sheet material(1) comprises a feeding unit(10), a molding roll(22), a nozzle unit(28), and a winding unit(40). The feeding unit is configured to feed sheet material such as a film, a non-woven fabric, or a bonded product made of a film and a non-woven fabric. The molding roll is installed at the back of the feeding unit and provided with a plurality of pins or embossment. The nozzle unit is installed on a route of the sheet material toward the molding roll and injects compressed water or compressed air to the sheet material. The winding unit is installed at the back of the molding roll to wind the perforated or embossed sheet material.
