Abstract

A method for manufacturing a high erectable shiny shape of polyester filament fiber and a velvet fabric by using the same are provided to form the cross section of the fabric as a dumbbell type. In the section of a filament fiber, a dumbbell type is formed at the center thereof, so that a bending elastic force is increased by the protrusions of the end and center portions of thereof and the erectness property is largely increased. The length, long shaft width and short shaft width satisfy a formula 1 and a formula 2. The formula 1 is 8<L/W<15, and the formula 2 is 1.2<D/W<1.8. When spinning the filament, an angle between the long shaft of a nozzle and the quenching air is 10 to 30 degrees.
