Abstract

A torch head copper-wire welding method of a carbon dioxide welder is provided to weld a rubber hose without a damage caused by high temperature of welding heat by lead-welding the rubber hose, which is disposed in a cooling water of a water tank, between a torch head and a band. In a torch head copper-wire welding method of a carbon dioxide welder, a hose adaptor is installed on a torch head(1) having a tip fixed on the front, to fix a rubber hose for supplying gas. A copper-wire(5) is installed on outer surface of the brass-made torch head to transmit electric current to the torch head through the copper-wire. The copper-wire is coated by a rubber coating tube(7). A band(6) press-fixing the copper-wire on the outer surface of the torch head is inserted and placed in a holder(10) installed at an upper part of a water tank(9). The rubber hose fixed on the hose adaptor is submerged in a cooling water(11) of the water tank. The band and a lead(12) are heated by a torch lamp(13), thereby the band is expanded and simultaneously melted lead fluid is infiltrated between the torch head and the band or into a space part of the copper-wire.
