이와 같이 한 번 조절을 시도한 후에는 기다렸다가 확인하고 다시, 또다시 조절을 하고는 하는 가운데 사용치 못하고 버려야할 물의 양은 전국적인 입장에서는 대단히 많은 양이 된다.

일단 샤워 손잡이까지에 도달한 각각의 뜨거운 물과 차가운 물은 샤워 손잡이 부위에 장치된 온도조절장치(3)를 통과하게 되는데 이때에 온도조절장치(3)를 상기 온도조절장치의 축(4)을 중심으로 해서 좌우로 움직임에 따라서 뜨거운 물의 양과 차가운 물의 양이 서로 반비례하여 줄거나 늘게 되는데 상기 온도조절장치(3)를 회전축(4)을 중심으로 해서 상기 온도조절장치(3)의 끝 부분을 좌측 끝의 뜨거운 물이 표시된(5) 부위(시계방향의 반대방향으로)로 완전히 돌리면 뜨거운 물만 나오고 좌측 끝으로부터 우측으로(시계방향으로) 차츰차츰 돌리면 뜨거운 물의 양은 줄면서 그만큼 차가운 물이 점점 더 많이 나오게 되며 상기 온도조절장치(3)의 끝 부분을 우측 끝으로 완전히 돌리면 뜨거운 물은 전혀 나오지 않고 차가운 물만 나오게 된다.
이때에 본 고안 품의 사용자는 한 손으로 샤워를 잡고 상기 샤워를 잡은 손의 엄지손가락을 온도조절장치(3)에 얹어 놓고는 다른 한 손으로는 상기 샤워에서 나오는 물의 온도를 감지하기 위하여 상기 샤워의 물을 손바닥이나 손가락으로 받을 수 있도록 준비한다. 그리고 상기 온도조절장치(3)를 좌우로 돌리면서 상기 샤워에서 나오는 물의 온도를 감지하면서 연이어 조절하여 사용하기에 편리한 온도의 물을 즉각적으로 얻게 된다.
본 고안의 기본적인 의미로 볼 때는 수도꼭지에서는 온도조절은 하지 않고 다만 인수량 조절만 하도록 한다.
그러나 아파트나 호텔 밑 대형 빌딩 안의 사무실 등에서는 뜨거운 물과 차가운 물의 온도가 연중 거의 동일하므로 본 고안의 다른 실시의 예도 있을 수 있다. 즉, 사용자의 습관에 따라 편리하게 사용할 수 있도록 하기 위하여 수도꼭지에서 온도조절을 위하여 뜨거운 물과 차가운 물의 양을 조절한 상태에서 서로 섞이게 하지 않고 전체 인수량 만을 조절한 후에 두 줄의 호스들(1, 2)을 통하여 뜨거운 물과 차가운 물이 각각 따로따로 샤워로 진입하도록 할 수도 있다.
