상기 표로부터 고추원액의 함량이 높아지면 살균력이 증가하는 것을 확인할 수 있다. 고추원액이 40중량% 포함된 실험 2의 조성물에서는 살포후 수 시간 후에박멸 효과가 나타나는 것이 관찰되었고 3일 후 병반무늬가 완전히 사라졌다. 그러나 8일 경과 후 다시 병반무늬가 나타나는 것이 관찰되었다. 고추원액은 단시간내에 병원균을 박멸시키는 장점이 있지만 계속 침입하는 병원균에 대해 지속적인 효과는 주지 못함을 알 수 있다. 반면, 키토산의 함량이 보다 높은 실험 1의 조성물의 경우 4일 째 이후부터 병원균이 박멸되고 또다시 재발하지도 않는다. 실험 3의 조성물은 키토산의 함유량이 높아 식물 스스로 병원균에 대항할 수 있는 항균력이 증가되어 점차 효과가 나타나지만 박멸에 시간이 걸리고 그 사이 고사하는 작물도 있었다.It can be seen from the table that the sterilization power increases when the content of the red pepper stock solution is increased. 고추종자를 2월 초순 온실의 배지에 파종하고 5월 초순까지 재배하여 고추 종묘를 수확하였다. 재배된 종묘를 이식할 노지에 실시예 2의 실험 1과 동일한 방법으로 제조된 살균ㆍ살충제 조성물을 평당 3~7ℓ살포ㆍ관주한 다음 고추종묘 20포기를 이식하였다. 그런 후 별도의 농약이나 비료를 주지않고 재배하여 8월 초순에 고추 열매를 수확하였다. 대조구 실험을 위해 노지에 살균ㆍ살충제 조성물을 살포하지 않고, 상기 고추종묘 20포기를 이식하여 역시 별도의 비료나 농약의 처리 없이 재배하였다. 그리고 8월 초순에 고추 열매를 수확하였다. 결과를 표 5에 나타내었다. 이때의 수확량은 병해가 없는 건실한 열매만을 대상으로 한 것이다.Pepper seeds were sown in a medium of greenhouse in early February and cultivated until early May to harvest pepper seedlings.
