Claims (4)
- 다수의 데이터라인들과 게이트 라인들이 매트릭스 형태로 배치되는 액정패널 상에 비디오 데이터를 공급하기 위하여 수직 블랭킹 구간과 유효 데이터 구간으로 나누어진 데이터 인에이블 신호를 생성하는 단계와,상기 데이터라인들에 공급되는 비디오 데이터의 극성을 반전시키기 위한 극성반전신호를 생성하는 단계와,상기 수직 블랭킹 구간에 상기 비디오 데이터의 극성을 반전시키는 단계와,상기 수직 블랭킹 구간에 상기 비디오 데이터를 상기 데이터라인들에 공급하는 단계와,상기 게이트라인들에 게이트 펄스를 공급하여 상기 유효 데이터 구간에 유효 비디오 데이터를 데이터라인들에 공급하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 구동방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 극성반전신호는 상기 비디오 데이터를 제 1 극성으로 변환하기 위한 제 1 논리값과,상기 수직 블랭킹 구간 내에서 발생되어 상기 비디오 데이터를 제 2 극성으로 변환하기 위한 제 2 논리값을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 구동방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 제 2 논리값이 발생되는 시점부터 상기 수직 블랭킹 구간의 종료시점까지의 기간 동안에 대략 10 내지 15 개의 수평동기신호가 포함되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 구동방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 블랭킹 구간동안 상기 데이터라인들에 공급되는 상기 비디오 데이터는 상기 상기 비디오 데이터의 극성반전 이후에 공급되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 구동방법.
