Abstract

PURPOSE: A mobile communication terminal applying a touch pad is provided to more conveniently execute menu search and selection by applying a touch pad for navigation to a mobile communication terminal. CONSTITUTION: A key pad(21) is provided to input numbers and characters according to a request of a user. A touch pad(22) is installed at the key pad(21) for navigation. A display unit(23) changeably displays positions of a pointer(23A) on a menu picture according to operation of the touch pad. If a mobile communication terminal is turned on, a main LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) window is displayed at the display unit while displaying an idle state. If a user presses a menu key, the menu picture is displayed and the pointer is displayed on the menu picture.
