Abstract

PURPOSE: An acupressure ball in the pillow and the manufacturing method are provided for people to apply acupressure to the neck in order to help relaxation, relieve stress and get the benefits of far infrared energy. CONSTITUTION: The acupressure ball(100) in the pillow(200) includes some ingredients of 48-52% loess; 46-50% buckwheat; and a mixed material of 1% starch and 1% soy oil with water. The manufacturing method includes a process of molding the above ingredients into the shape of a ball; and a process of drying the above mold at 35-45 deg.C for about twenty-four hours until the diameter of the mold becomes 20-50mm.
