Description

A Pneumatic Radial Tire}Pneumatic Radial Tires

The present invention relates to a pneumatic radial tire of an automobile, and more particularly to a pneumatic radial tire that can not only improve the quality of the tire by reinforcing the shoulder portion of the tire, but also can solve problems in the manufacturing process.

In general, the carcass inserted into the tire is composed of several layers of cords, and is a structural part that plays the biggest role in supporting the tire. In other words, carcass is a structural part that forms the skeleton of the tire.

The carcass structure of the conventional radial tire is arrange | positioned in the 90 degree direction with respect to a tire running direction (circumferential direction). It is a drawback that the shoulder part is weak in the conventional tire in which carcass is arrange | positioned in the 90 degree direction with respect to a tire running direction. The shoulder part receives the most heat and stress when the vehicle is driven, and the carcass road disposed in a 90 degree direction with respect to the existing driving direction is insufficient in reinforcement.

In addition, in the conventional tire, since the carcass is disposed only in the 90-degree direction with respect to the tire running direction (circumferential direction), there is a problem that the cord forming the carcass of the shoulder portion is exposed when the tire is cured. When the tire is put into the mold and vulcanized, a strong squeezing force is generated, which is pushed out of the mold, and the squeezing force generated at this time occurs most strongly in the shoulder portion. This squeezing causes the rubbers on the shoulder portion to be pushed toward the tread or sidewall, thereby causing the problem of exposing the cord.

An object of the present invention is to provide a pneumatic radial tire that can improve the performance of the tire by reinforcing the shoulder portion of the structurally weak tire, as well as to prevent the problem of exposing the cord during vulcanization.

In the pneumatic radial tire of the present invention for achieving the above technical problem is a pneumatic radial tire comprising a tread, a belt inserted into the tread, and a carcass inserted into the lower portion of the belt, Carcass is characterized in that it comprises a new carcass located in the shoulder portion and arranged in the same direction as the circumferential direction of the tire.

Hereinafter, with reference to the accompanying drawings will be described an embodiment of the present invention; 1 is a cross-sectional view showing a tire according to the present invention, Figure 2 is a perspective view showing the "A" part of FIG.

The pneumatic radial tire 100 of the present invention has a tread 10, a belt 20 inserted into the tread, and a carcass inserted into a lower portion of the belt 20 and disposed at 90 degrees with respect to a driving direction ( 30), it is arranged in the upper shoulder portion 40 of the carcass 30, and stacks a new carcass 30a in the same direction as the circumferential direction (running direction) of the tire.

That is, in the present invention, a new carcass 30a is added in the circumferential direction (vertical direction) to the shoulder portion 40 of the carcass 30 formed in the conventional tire center axis direction (horizontal direction).

Here, the new carcass 30a is preferably formed outward starting at a point 18-22 mm inward from the end of the belt 20a of the lowermost layer.

In addition, the width of the new carcass 30a is preferably formed of 70-110mm. Therefore, a new carcass 30a is suitable for a small tire whose tire size is less than 195 mm (refer to tread width), and a new carcass is suitable for a medium tire having a tire size of 205 mm (refer to tread width). It is preferable to form the width of 30a about 100 mm.

As described above, according to the present invention, by stacking a new carcass 30a in the orthogonal direction (running direction) on the shoulder portion of the conventional carcass, not only the structurally weak shoulder portion can be reinforced but also the cord is exposed during tire vulcanization. Can be prevented.
