CONSTITUTION: An iris diaphragm to control a light intensity is installed adjacently on one plane of the first lens(10), and a diffractive optical element(DOE) is applied on an opposite plane of the first lens. The second lens(20) having a negative refractive index is located between the first lens and an image sensor(40), and one plane of the second lens has an IR coating so that it passes a visible ray and blocks a wavelength of an infrared ray region. Therefore, a light incident on a camera lens from a light source passes through the iris diaphragm and the first lens and the second lens in sequence and thus realize a desired screen imaged on an imaging plane of the image sensor.

Description

Optical system for digital camera}Optical system for digital camera

The present invention relates to an optical system of a digital camera, and more particularly, to an optical system for a digital camera that enables a compact camera configuration in the form of a telephoto.

In general, digital cameras are similar in that they use the optics and mechanism of ordinary cameras, but instead of film, they take images with an image sensor called CCD (Charge Coupled Device), convert the signals into digital data, and store them as graphic files. The difference is that it takes a way to store in.

These digital cameras can instantly check the screen shots through the LCD screen, and can process various data such as editing and output through a computer, and can immediately print them to the printer without complicated film development and printing process if necessary. It is expanding.

1 of the accompanying drawings schematically illustrates the optical system of the digital camera as described above, the first lens 1 having a negative refractive power applied to the diffractive optical element (DOE) on at least one surface, and at least one A second lens 2 having a positive refractive power to which a diffractive optical element (DOE) is applied to a surface thereof, and an aperture function to adjust the amount of light between the first lens 1 and the second lens 2 ( 3) and an optical low pass filter (OLPF) for passing a low frequency band between the image forming surface of the second lens 1 and the CCD image sensor 5 and blocking a high frequency region above the Nyquist frequency. It consists of (4).

The optical filter (OLPF) 4 is composed of a birefringent correction plate and an IR cut filter to allow visible light to pass through and to block light in the infrared region so that the amount of light entering through the lens is optimally adjusted. To be installed.

However, since the conventional digital camera optical system is used by inserting the optical filter (OLPF) as described above in order to improve the imaging characteristics, the back focal length of the optical system is determined in order to position the optical filter. It should be secured, and accordingly had a problem that it is difficult to configure a compact optical system.

Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide an optical system for a digital camera, which can realize a compact digital camera by improving an optical system configuration of the digital camera.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention includes a first lens having a positive refractive power applied to the diaphragm to adjust the amount of light on one surface, the diffraction optical element (DOE) is applied to at least one surface; An optical system for a digital camera is disposed between the first lens and an image forming surface of the image sensor, and includes a second lens having a negative refractive power with IR coating on at least one surface thereof.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of an optical system for a digital camera according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

2 is a view for explaining the configuration of the optical system for a digital camera according to the present invention, the aperture 30 for adjusting the amount of light on one surface of the first lens 10 having a positive refractive power is connected in series, On the opposite side of the first lens 10 is a diffractive optical element (DOE) is applied.

In addition, a second lens 20 having a negative refractive power is positioned between the first lens 10 and the image sensor 40, for example, an image forming surface of the CCD, which is the second lens 20. One side of the surface is IR coated to pass visible light and block the wavelength in the infrared region.

Therefore, the light incident on the camera lens from the light source passes through the aperture 30, the first lens 10, and the second lens 20 in sequence and forms an image on the imaging surface of the image sensor 40 to realize a desired screen. .

As described above, according to the present invention, since the IR coated lens is used instead of the conventional bulk optical filter (OLPF) to block the infrared rays to optimize the amount of light, the configuration of the optical system is simplified, Accordingly, the compact optical system can be realized.

In particular, such a compact optical system has a great advantage in the design of a video communication camera and an Internet TV fish (PC) camera, which require recent miniaturization and weight reduction.
