Abstract

PURPOSE: Connection structure of a front cover and a cover plate of a monitor is provided to reduce the time and cost for assembling a monitor by connecting a front cover with a cover plate without a separate assembling process. CONSTITUTION: Two fixing hooks(11) are protruded on both ends of the rear face of a cover plate(10). A protruded portion(12) guiding the insertion of the cover plate is formed on the rear upper end of the cover plate. Rectangular recesses(21) for connecting the fixing hooks and a recess(22) for inserting the protruded portion are formed on a front cover(20). A planar face(23) is formed at the lower center of the front cover, and the recesses are formed on the planar face. Upon pressing the protruded portion on the recess(22), the fixing hooks are inserted to the rectangular recesses. The ledges of the fixing hooks are fixed in the rear faces of the rectangular recesses. Therefore, the cover plate is firmly connected with the front cover.
