그러나 이와같이 기장이 길게 형성된 펌프축은 사용중 축이 휘거나 뒤틀림이 발생하고 또한 축 하중의 증가로 인하여 베어링이 과열되고 마모되어 수시로 축을 수리하거나 교체하여야 하는 것이나, 연장축을 모터축에 접합할때에 용접과 같은 방법으로 일체적으로 고정하고 있으므로, 모터축(1)으로부터 연장축(2)을 분리할 수 없기 때문에 축을 교체하고자 할 때에는 축만을 교체하지 못하고 모터 전체를 교체하여야 하는 문제점이 있어왔었기에 이와같은 문제점을 해결하고자 본 출원인은 본원 고안의 출원에 선행하여 1996년 5월 3일자로 펌프의 축연결구조에 관하여 새로운 고안(이하 선출원 고안이라 함)을 하였는데 선출원 고안은 모터축에 연장축을 연결하고자 할 때에 제2도에 도시된바처럼 이들 사이를 키와 부싱 원통형커플링을 사용하여 연결 조립하므로서, 펌프의 사용중 축이 마모되거나 변형되었을때에 이를 수리하거나 교체하고자 할 때에는 키와 부싱만을 간단히 분해하면 연장축이 모터축으로부터 용이하게 분리되도록 하여 연장축만을 수리하거나 교체할 수 있도록 하고자 하는 조립과 분해가 용이한 펌프의 축연결구조를 제공한 것인데 이와같은 선출원 고안에 따른 축연결구조는 모터축(1)과 펌프축(2)을 연결함에 있어 부싱(6)으로 연결 조립하므로서 펌프의 사용중 두 축(1,2)과 부싱(6)의 공차로 인하여 펌프축(2) 끝단의 편각이 커져 축 진동이 발생되므로 케이싱의 라이너링 부위의 마모가 심하고, 특히 펌프축(2)과 부싱(6)이 결합된 부분에 사용중 발생된 응력으로 인하여 부식발생이 현저하여 부싱(6)의 분해가 곤란할뿐 아니라 무리한 분해로 인해 모터축(1)에 손상을 줄 염려가 많았었다.However, pump shafts with long lengths, such as bending or twisting of the shaft during use, and bearing overheating and abrasion due to an increase in the shaft load, require frequent repairs or replacement of the shaft.
