Abstract

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for efficiently inputting Hangul of a portable telephone are provided to simplify marks of figure buttons and easily give shape to the change of representative vowels, thereby quickly inputting Hangul using both hands. CONSTITUTION: Consonants of Hangul are assigned to figure buttons, 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 0 two to every figure button. Vowels of Hangul are assigned to figure buttons, 3, 6, 9.
