In particular, embodiments are defined by the shape of the independent claims.
The development of the method and apparatus of the present invention depends on the skill of the expert. In particular, additional measures can be introduced that monitor the welding process and control the degree of welded seam. That is, the welder can be equipped with a welding beam that can pass along the seam. Subsequent cleaning operations of the welding seam may be provided after the welding operation. For the conveying method and the conveying apparatus according to the invention, it is of course possible to use a welder which is not subject to any special requirements with regard to accuracy.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
According to FIG. 1, which schematically shows the assembly process, a continuously actuated molding apparatus 2 or a sequentially actuated molding apparatus 3 is used to form the hollow cross section. In the case of the continuously operated molding apparatus 2, the flat sheet to be molded is carried directly from the coil 4, whereas in the case of the sequentially operated molding apparatus 3, the flat sheet to be processed is stacked 5. Conveyed from. As is known, the forming apparatus utilizes die bending techniques and forms the bends by sliding-action draw or rolling. A hollow blank of a desired shape, i.e., round, straight on the side, and on the other hand can be formed by the above technique. The hollow material has a longitudinal continuous seam to be welded in another fabrication step. To this end, the hollow material preformed in the molding apparatus is supplied to the welding machine 6. Since the process rates vary greatly between the individual machines, an intermediate step 7 is provided between the forming apparatuses 2, 3 and the welder 6, which is supplied manually to the welder 6. Known in particular tubing welders are provided with means for guiding the seam to the weld. In the subsequent treatment step 8, the welded tube is further molded. That is, the tube is bent, expanded and coated. The manufacturing process shown in FIG. 1 can solve the problems of the present invention. The method according to the invention is suitable for use in conjunction with a molding machine 2 in which the working time is adequate, no vibrations occur, and the adjustable feeder 9 is operated continuously or sequentially.
The first embodiment is shown in FIG. In this embodiment, the molding apparatus 11 and the welding machine 12 are separated to prevent the vibration generated in the molding apparatus 11 from being transmitted to the welding machine 12. The flat sheet 13 to be molded in this example is fed from the stack 14 and bent by the molding machine 11 in a known manner to form the tube 15. The preformed tube material is discharged in the direction of reference 19 and loaded onto the roller 18 and loaded onto the weld conveyor 16. In this preferred embodiment, two weld feeders 16.1 and 16.2 are fed so that they are alternately connected back and forth, and the welding beam X alternately guides one or the other weld feeders. The weld feeder 16 is equipped with a number of claws, thereby allowing the workpiece to be gripped, aligned and locally pressed. Such a weld conveyor is suitable for handling a material having a diameter of 50 to 250 mm. The thickness of the flat sheet is between 0.5 and 3 mm.
(5).The conveying device shown in FIG. 3 has a loading shuttle 21 and a non-loading shuttle 22. Here, the molding mechanism 23 and the welding machine 24 are separated, and the vibration generated by the molding mechanism 23 is not transmitted to the welding machine 24. The discharge mechanism 25 of the molding mechanism 23 supplies the preformed material 26 over the roller 28 to the loading shuttle 21. This loading shuttle 21 aligns the weld and the seam to be welded in line with the first approach. To this end, the shuttle can rotate the workpiece 26 about its longitudinal axis and reposition it horizontally or vertically. This loading shuttle 21 guides the aligned (adjusted) material 26 to the welding beam X of the welder 24. Another gripping mechanism 27 is provided in the weld zone that stabilizes and preferably presses the seam. This gripping mechanism 27 guides through the joint in particular. The unloading shuttle 22 moves the welded material 26 from the welder 24 and cooperates properly with the loading shuttle 21. In particular, the loading shuttle 21 can catch the material supplied by the molding mechanism 21, and the material located in the welding machine 24 is pulled out through the welding machine by the non-loading shuttle 22. Thus, the welder 24 can be operated without any interference. In this arrangement too, the transfer between the forming tool 23 and the welder 24 is vibration free and the handling is adjustable (5).
In the arrangement shown in FIG. 3, the transfer between the forming mechanism 31 and the welder 32 is effective by the assistance of the endless conveyor 33. The endless conveyor 33 is equipped with a jaw 34 arranged in pairs, and the material which is transferred from the molding machine 31 and enters into the holding tank is pushed. Through the proper shape of the gripper 34 or the inclination of the individual caterpillar, the gripper 34 is manufactured to have a corresponding gripping force with respect to the material 35. The required arrangement of the seam to be welded which is preferentially handled in the weld can be made by a mutual centering caterpillar or / or a suitable loading shuttle 37. The conveying device is suitable for transferring the material from the molding apparatus continuously working or the molding apparatus working sequentially. In this case, the material discharged from the molding mechanism is supplied onto the transfer roller 38 and transferred to the gripping tank 24 of the endless conveyor 33.
It is clear that the operation of the ejection mechanism of the molding apparatus can be matched to that of the conveying device. In particular, the welder can be operated with a double device. That is, several conveying devices are arranged in parallel with each other and alternately cooperate with the welding beam of the welder. The use of a high power laser in the welder will depend on the raw material of the material to be welded.
The hollow cross-section component is suitable for further molding to become a component of the vehicle body.
