The computer system 26 is connected to the main body 10 by wire and wirelessly to store the image signal processed by the digital signal processor 22 and display the same to the user.

The state in which the medical camera configured as described above operates is briefly described.

When the user supplies power to the medical camera 28, light is irradiated from the LED 14, and the irradiated light is transmitted to the optical fiber 16 through the lens 18. At this time, the transmitted light is irradiated to the subject located in front of the digital camera unit 12 through the optical fiber 16. When the light transmitted from the LED 14 is irradiated to the subject located in front of the digital camera unit 12 through the optical fiber 16, the digital camera unit 12 photographs the subject, and the digital signal processor 22 The photographed digital video signal is generated as a still image according to a user's needs. At this time, the video signal is displayed to the user by the display device 24 and the computer system 26.

Although it was possible to check and examine a patient's local area by using the medical camera configured as described above, such a medical camera has a light intensity (brightness) irradiated from the LED as the light irradiated from the LED is irradiated onto the subject through the lens and the optical fiber. ) Was reduced. That is, the light irradiated from the LED is transmitted to the optical fiber through the lens. In this process, the intensity of light transmitted to the subject is reduced because the intensity of light is lost in the process of transmitting the light.

In addition, as the intensity of the light emitted from the LED is reduced, the subject is blurred, and thus the image displayed to the user is not clear. In addition, since the displayed image is not clear, there is a problem that the local part of the patient cannot be clearly identified and examined.

Accordingly, the present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, and an object thereof is to configure the optical fiber and the LED integrally to prevent the loss of the light intensity emitted from the LED to maximize the clarity of the image displayed to the user.
