Claims (5)
- 기지국이 현재 방송 메시지 전송 여부를 미리 알려주기 위한 방송 표시자를 이동국에 전송하는 단계와,상기 이동국이 상기 기지국에서 알려준 방송 주기가 도래한 시점에서 상기 방송 표시자값을 판별하는 단계와,상기 이동국이 상기 방송 표시자값을 판별한 결과, 현재 방송 메시지가 전송될 것으로 판단될 경우에 해당 채널을 주기적으로 감시하는 단계와,상기 이동국이 상기 방송 메시지가 전송된 채널을 주기적으로 감시하면서, 필요로 하는 해당 방송 메시지를 수신하는 단계로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 단문 메시지 방송 서비스의 메시지 송수신 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 방송 표시자 전송 단계에서,상기 방송 표시자는 상기 방송 메시지가 전송되는 채널보다 소정의 시스템 시간 이전에 전송되는 고속 호출 채널(Quick paging channel)을 통해 전송되는 것을 특징으로 하는 단문 메시지 방송 서비스의 메시지 송수신 방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 방송 표시자는 상기 고속 호출 채널의 여유 영역(Reserved)에 삽입되어 전송되는 것을 특징으로 단문 메시지 방송 서비스의 메시지 송수신 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 기지국의 방송 표시자 지원 여부를 상기 이동국에 알려 주기 위한 필드가 확장 시스템 파라미터 메시지에 추가되어 상기 방송 메시지가 전송되기 이전에 상기 방송 메시지가 전송되는 채널을 통해 미리 전송되는 것을 특징으로 하는 단문 메시지 방송 서비스의 메시지 송수신 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 이동국이 상기 방송 표시자값을 판별한 결과, 현재 방송 메시지 전송이 없는 것으로 판단될 경우에는 상기 이동국이 대기 상태(Idle state)로 천이되는 것을 특징으로 하는 단문 메시지 방송 서비스의 메시지 송수신 방법.
