PURPOSE: The door phone system capable of communication with a visitor during user's absence is provided to connect to the user with a visitor even in absence so that the user can execute a voice call with the visitor and confirm the image of the visitor. CONSTITUTION: An external interphone(10) and an internal interphone(30) are connected by a web transmitter(20). The internal interphone(30) is connected with a communication server(40) through a wired or wireless communication network. A portable phone(50) is connected to the communication server(40). The external interphone(10) is comprised of a control unit(11), a visiting bell input unit(12), a voice signal input/output unit(13) and an image signal input unit(14). The control unit(11) controls each of the units. The visiting bell input unit(12) receives a visiting bell signal from a visitor. The voice signal input/output unit(13) receives the visitor's voice through a speaker phone installed at the outside of the external interphone(10). The image signal input unit(14) receives the image of the visitor from a camera installed at the outside of the external interphone(10).
