Abstract
본 발명은 코코넛과피를 이용한 유기성폐기물의 퇴비화처리 방법에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 가축분뇨, 음식물찌꺼기, 폐수슬러지, 전분박 등의 각종 유기성폐기물을 퇴비화하는 방법에 있어서, 수분조절제로서 함수율이 낮고 보수력, 보비력, 통기성이 우수한 다공성 구조로 된 코코넛과피를 이용하여 유기성폐기물을 퇴비화처리하는 방법에 관한 것이다.The present invention relates to a method for composting organic wastes using coconut peel, and more particularly, in a method for composting various organic wastes such as livestock manure, food waste, wastewater sludge, and starch meal, having a low water content as a moisture control agent. 최근, 날로 증가하고 있는 유기성폐기물을 쓰레기 매립장에 매립할 경우에 발생되는 침출수로 인하여 지하수오염, 악취, 해충 등이 발생되고, 매립장 건립에 막대한 비용이 소요되고 있으며 또한 매립장 부지확보가 어려운 실정이다.Recently, groundwater pollution, odors, pests, etc. are generated due to leachate generated when organic wastes are increasing in landfills, and it is difficult to secure landfill sites.

유기성 폐기물을 퇴비화하는 방법에 있어서, 특히 호기성 퇴비화를 위해서는 수분 및 탄소/질소의 비(C/N비) 조정, 통기성 확보를 위해서 왕겨, 볏집, 톱밥 등의 수분조절제를 퇴비화처리의 초기에 유기성폐기물과 함께 첨가하게 되며, 이들 수분조절제들 중에서 톱밥이 가장 일반적으로 이용되고 있으나, 톱밥은 그 수요에 비하여 공급이 점차 부족하게 되고 가격 또한 상승되고 있는 단점이 있다.In the method of composting organic wastes, especially for aerobic composting, organic wastes are prepared at the beginning of the composting process by adjusting moisture and carbon / nitrogen ratios (C / N ratio) and moisture control agents such as rice hulls, rice balls and sawdust to ensure breathability.
