More specifically, the ON/OFF operation of the laser output for oil discrimination is controlled and output, and the light fluorescently received in the detection area is used as a spectrometer. During analysis, the spectrum of the 'ON' state and the 'OFF' state are measured separately, and water and oil are determined based on the spectrum excluding the 'OFF' state from the 'ON' state, so the ON/OFF operation is controlled to control the excitation output. This relates to a UV fluorescence measurement system for distinguishing between water and oil, which can minimize noise caused by ambient light other than light, thereby improving the accuracy of water and oil discrimination.

Recently, as the volume of vessel traffic at sea has increased, the incidence of marine accidents such as ship collisions and other ship strandings has been increasing. These marine accidents occur when fuel oil such as heavy oil or light oil loaded on various ships is leaked into the sea or when cargo is transported on an oil tanker. Crude oil or various oils that were loaded onto the ship leak into the sea, causing marine environmental pollution.
In particular, oil spilled due to an accident spreads quickly under the influence of wind, waves, and currents, so damage to marine environmental pollution can be minimized only when the accident is recognized and removed at an early stage.
Accordingly, in the past, various technologies have been researched and developed to remove oil spilled in the sea, but in order to minimize damage to marine environment pollution, technology is needed to first detect oil spilled in the sea and identify the oil spreading in the sea. do.
Methods for detecting oil spills at sea include ion current measurement, electrical resistance measurement, satellite data, and sea surface fluorescence analysis. Among them, detection area fluorescence analysis is the most widely used until recently as it is easy to detect at minimal cost. there is.
However, in the case of conventional sea surface fluorescence analysis, ambient light such as natural light and scattered light generated inside the optical lens system can be received together with the spectrometer, resulting in noise when measuring the spectrum, which is a problem in that the accuracy of distinguishing between water and oil is low. there is.
Therefore, when discriminating between water and oil, the light output for discriminating between water and oil can receive and analyze only the light that fluoresces in water or oil, which can improve the accuracy of discriminating between water and oil. A fluorescence measurement system is needed to determine .

The present invention has the following excellent effects.
First, according to the UV fluorescence measurement system for distinguishing water and oil according to an embodiment of the present invention, the ON/OFF operation of the laser diode is controlled to measure the spectrum in 'ON' and 'OFF' states, respectively. There is an advantage in improving the accuracy of distinguishing between water and oil because noise measured by ambient light can be minimized by distinguishing between water and oil based on the spectrum excluding the 'OFF' state from the 'ON' state.
In addition, according to the UV fluorescence measurement system for distinguishing water and oil according to an embodiment of the present invention, the horizontal polarization of natural light is removed through a horizontal polarizer before the fluorescence expressed in the detection area is received and input to the spectrometer.
