Description
The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display device, and more specifically, to a liquid crystal display device capable of implementing a narrow bezel.
In the recent information society, the importance of display devices as visual information transmission media is being further emphasized, and in order to occupy a major position in the future, they must meet requirements such as low power consumption, thinness, weight reduction, and high image quality.
The display device is a cathode ray tube (CRT) that emits light, an electroluminescence (EL), a light emitting diode (LED), a vacuum fluorescent display (VFD), and an electric field. It can be divided into luminous types, such as field emission displays (FED) and plasma display panels (PDP), and non-emissive types, such as liquid crystal displays (LCD), which do not emit light themselves. .
A liquid crystal display device is a device that expresses images using the optical anisotropy of liquid crystals. Liquid crystal displays are attracting attention as display devices because they have excellent visibility compared to existing cathode ray tubes, their average power consumption is smaller than that of cathode ray tubes of the same screen size, and their heat dissipation is also small.
Hereinafter, a general liquid crystal display device will be described.

In addition, there are cases where

Next, FIGS. 8A and 8B are enlarged views of part C of the liquid crystal display device according to an embodiment of the present invention shown in FIG. 4. At this time, FIG. 8B is a perspective view schematically showing a cross section along line C-C' of the liquid crystal display device according to the embodiment of the present invention shown in FIG. 8A.
At this time, Figures 8a and 8b show an example of fixing optical sheets using an LED housing on the lower side of the liquid crystal display device.
Referring to FIGS. 8A and 8B , the
In particular, the
At this time, the
Next, as described above, the
For example, recently, in order to improve luminous efficiency and brightness, blue LEDs containing blue LED chips with excellent luminous efficiency and brightness have been used, and 'cerium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet', that is, yellow phosphor, has been used as the phosphor. You can use it. The blue light emitted from these LEDs passes through the phosphor and mixes with the yellow light emitted by the phosphor, thereby producing white light.
The LED printed
The LED printed
Additionally, the
If there is a difference in thickness between the
At this time, another adhesive means 158, such as a tape, is provided on the
At this time, the
In this way, the
In this way, the
Although many details are described in detail in the above description, this should be interpreted as an example of a preferred embodiment rather than limiting the scope of the invention. Therefore, the invention should not be determined by the described embodiments, but by the scope of the patent claims and their equivalents.
