Description
본 실시예는 자기입자를 일 초점으로 포집할 수 있도록 하는 자기입자 제어장치에 관한 것이다.This embodiment relates to a magnetic particle control device capable of collecting magnetic particles at one focus.
이 부분에 기술된 내용은 단순히 본 실시예에 대한 배경 정보를 제공할 뿐 종래기술을 구성하는 것은 아니다.The contents described in this part merely provide background information on the present embodiment and do not constitute prior art.
In the medical field, an imaging system capable of capturing the inside of a human body without dissection is in the limelight for disease diagnosis and health examination. Such an imaging system may obtain an image of the inside of the human body by using a characteristic of transmitting certain energy through the human body and transmitting or reflecting according to the characteristics of the human body. For example, the imaging system may include an X-ray imaging device, an ultrasound imaging device, a computed tomography (CT) device, or a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) device.
Conventional imaging systems have problems such as exposure to radiation or difficulties in acquiring high-resolution images. Recently, a magnetic particle imaging (MPI) device capable of obtaining high-resolution biological images at high speed using superparamagnetic nanoparticles as a tracer has emerged as a next-generation imaging system. The MPI device can acquire a spectrum including a plurality of harmonics from electrical signals derived from nanoparticles. The MPI device can operate without radiation and can provide 3D distribution images in real time in proportion to the concentration of superparamagnetic nanoparticles (SPION), which can be used for various medical applications such as cardiovascular or cerebrovascular diagnosis, cell labeling and tracking. can be used in the field.
다만, 종래의 MPI 장치는 장치의 구조적 특성상 아주 작은 물체 내 초상자성 나노입자에 대해서만 감지하고 영상을 획득할 수 있는 불편이 존재하였다. 이에 따라, 물체를 넘어 인간 스케일에 적용하기에는 무리가 있어 의료기기로서는 역할이 아주 미미한 수준에 불과했다. However, conventional MPI devices have inconveniences in that they can detect and acquire images only for superparamagnetic nanoparticles in very small objects due to the structural characteristics of the device. As a result, it was difficult to apply it to a human scale beyond objects, so its role as a medical device was only minimal.
또한, 종래의 MPI 장치는 초상자성 나노입자를 감지하는 것만을 수행할 수 있었으며, 하나의 장비에서 나노입자를 실시간으로 감지하는 동시에 나노입자를 이동시키는 등 나노입자를 제어하는 것까지 동시에 수행하지는 못했다.
발명의 배경이 되는 기술로 참조할 만한 내용으로는 국내등록특허 제10-1765015호에 기재되고 있다.In addition, conventional MPI devices could only detect superparamagnetic nanoparticles, and could not simultaneously detect nanoparticles in real time and control nanoparticles, such as moving nanoparticles, in one device. .
As a background technology for the invention, it is described in Korean Registered Patent No. 10-1765015.

The

When the
도 2 및 도 3과 같이, 입자 관리부(110)가 2개의 코일로 구현될 경우, 표적을 일 초점보다는 일 방향으로 포집하는데 적합하며, 표적(230) 내에서 일 방향을 향하도록 하는 자기장의 세기는 상대적으로 세질 수 있어 미세입자가 포집되는 속도는 상대적으로 향상될 수 있다.As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 , when the
도 4는 본 발명의 다른 일 실시예에 따른 입자 관리부의 구성을 도시한 도면이다.4 is a diagram showing the configuration of a particle management unit according to another embodiment of the present invention.
도 4를 참조하면, 본 발명의 다른 일 실시예에 따른 입자 관리부(110)는 제1 코일(310, 제2 코일(320), 제3 코일(330) 및 제4 코일(340)을 포함한다. 나아가, 입자 관리부(110)는 각 코일 내에 배치되는 각 코어(315, 325, 335, 345)를 더 포함할 수 있다.Referring to FIG. 4 , the
각 코일(310 내지 340)은 표적(230)을 중심에 두고, 표적(230)의 4 방향에 동일한 기 설정된 거리만큼 떨어진 위치에서 표적(230)을 바라보며 배치된다. 이처럼 배치된 4개의 코일은 도 5에 도시된 바와 같이, 말 안장(Saddle)과 같은 형태의 자기장을 내부(표적이 배치되는 방향)로 형성한다. Each of the
도 5는 본 발명의 다른 일 실시예에 따른 입자 관리부에 의해 형성되는 자기장의 일반적인 형태를 도시한 도면이다.5 is a diagram showing a general form of a magnetic field formed by a particle management unit according to another embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to FIG. 5 , the magnetic field formed by the four coils has a saddle shape. A
Referring back to FIG. 4 , the
The direction of the current applied to each
도 6 내지 8은 본 발명의 다른 일 실시예에 따른 입자 관리부에 의해 형성되는 자기장을 도시한 도면이다.6 to 8 are diagrams illustrating a magnetic field formed by a particle management unit according to another embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to FIG. 6, when a counterclockwise current flows in each of the four
입자 관리부(110)가 4개의 코일로 구현될 경우, 표적을 일 초점으로 포집하는데 적합하며, 표적(230) 내에서 미세 입자를 보다 세밀하게 포집할 수 있다.When the
Referring to FIG. 7 , it can be seen that the position of the
On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 7 , when only the intensity of the current applied to one coil is different, rather than the intensity of the current applied to the plurality of coils, the change in the
Referring to FIG. 8 , it can be seen that as the direction of the current applied to the coil changes, the directions of the formed magnetic field (first point, second point, and directions of the center line) vary. For example, unlike that shown in FIG. 6 , current is applied in a counterclockwise direction to the
이와 같이, 제어부(130)는 입자 관리부로 인가되는 전원(전류)의 방향과 세기를 제어하여 배치된 표적(230) 내에서 미세 자기입자(240)가 포집되는 위치를 제어할 수 있다.As such, the
도 9는 표적으로 미세 자기입자가 주입되었을 경우, 자기장이 형성될 때와 형성되지 않았을 때의 미세 자기입자의 분포를 도시한 도면이다.9 is a diagram showing the distribution of fine magnetic particles when a magnetic field is formed and when a magnetic field is not formed when fine magnetic particles are injected into a target.
도 9(a)와 같은 혈관 내로 미세 자기입자가 우측 상단에서 주입되는 상황이다. This is a situation in which fine magnetic particles are injected from the upper right side into the blood vessel as shown in FIG. 9(a).
이에, 아무런 자기장이 형성되지 않을 경우, 도 9(b)와 같이 미세 자기입자가 주입된 후 200초 뒤에 혈관 내 다양한 부위로 미세 자기입자가 분포되어 있는 것을 확인할 수 있다.Accordingly, when no magnetic field is formed, as shown in FIG. 9(b), it can be confirmed that the fine magnetic particles are distributed to various parts within the
한편, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 입자 관리부(110)에 의해 자기장이 형성되는 경우, 도 9(c)와 같이 미세 자기입자는 미세 자기입지의 포집을 위한 초점(240)이 위치한 방향으로 포집되는 것을 확인할 수 있다.On the other hand, when a magnetic field is formed by the
본 발명의 다른 실시예에 따른 입자 관리부(110)에 의해 자기장이 형성되는 경우, 도 9(d)와 같이 미세 자기입자는 미세 자기입자의 포집을 위한 초점(240)으로 온전히 포집되는 것을 확인할 수 있다.When a magnetic field is formed by the
이러한 특성에 따라, 포집속도와 미세 자기입자의 포집 방향성이 중요한 경우, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 입자 관리부(110)가 포함된 자기입자 제어장치(100)가 이용될 수 있다. 반대로, 일 초점으로 정밀하게 미세 자기입자를 포집해야 할 경우, 본 발명의 다른 일 실시예에 따른 입자 관리부(110)가 포함된 자기입자 제어장치(100)가 이용될 수 있다. According to these characteristics, when the collecting speed and the collecting direction of fine magnetic particles are important, the magnetic
도 10은 초점의 위치와 초점 위치에 따라 혈관 내에서 포커싱되는 미세 자기입자들의 위치를 도시한 도면이다.FIG. 10 is a diagram showing the position of a focal point and the positions of fine magnetic particles focused in a blood vessel according to the focal position.
또한, 입자 관리부(110)가 표적(230)의 표면에 수직한 방향으로 자기장이 형성하도록, 제어부(140)는 전원 공급부(120)를 제어한다.In addition, the
도 10(a)를 참조하면, 표적(230)의 표면에 수직한 방향으로 자기장이 형성되어, 표적(230)의 일 초점(240)으로 미세 자기입자(810)가 포집되고 있음을 확인할 수 있다.Referring to FIG. 10 (a), it can be confirmed that a magnetic field is formed in a direction perpendicular to the surface of the
On the other hand, referring to FIG. 10 (b), the magnetic field acts in the +y-axis direction and is concentrated at one
