Description
The present invention relates to a terminal for a wire joint connector, and more particularly, to a wire joint connector terminal for connecting two high-voltage wires having thick sheaths.
Generally, in order to electrically connect two separate wires, a method of exposing a core wire by peeling off a part of the wire's sheath, electrically connecting the exposed core wire by overlapping or twisting it, and wrapping the exposed core wire with an insulating tape, etc. this is used
That is, in order to electrically connect the two wires, a process of exposing the core wire by peeling off the coating, a process of electrically connecting the core wire to each other, and a process of winding the core wire with an insulating tape are performed.
When the two wires are electrically connected by simply twisting them, the core wires of the two wires are separated from each other due to the passage of time and external force, or a viscous material flows out of the insulating tape, causing poor contact of the core wires and contaminating the surrounding area, as well as the wire It had a problem that it took a lot of time to electrically connect them.
In order to solve this problem, various terminal technologies have been proposed that allow current to flow between wires without stripping the coating of the wires.
As an example, schematically looking at the terminal of the prior art, it is a terminal made of conductive material, and a cutting blade is formed along the direction in which the wire is inserted on one side thereof. It is structured to be connected.
However, since these prior art terminals are provided with only cutting blades for simply cutting only the coating of wires, in particular, in the case of high-voltage wires with thick coatings, such a single cutting blade alone cannot accurately cut the thick coating, making it difficult to connect core wires. I had problems with it not being done.

It is quick and easy, and as a result, it leads to improved work efficiency.
In addition, by providing a core wire connection portion that is connected to both sides of the core wire as well as a core wire seating portion that supports both sides of the bottom surface of the core wire in a state of being in close contact with the bottom surface of the core wire, so that the connection area between the connection plate and the core wire is maximized, By making the connection state between the terminal and the terminal good, as a result, it is possible to improve the reliability of the core connection state.
In addition, a lower space portion is provided at the bottom of the core wire connecting portion so that the coating of the lower end of the uncut wire is positioned so that it is not interfered with by the coating of the uncut wire, thereby reducing the gap between the core wire of the wire and the first and second connecting plates. As a result, it is possible to impart a sense of stability to the core wire connection state by making the connection stable.
In addition, a separate sharp protrusion is provided between the core wire seating portion and the lower space portion to finally cut the remaining coating of the wire remaining without being completely cut through the teeth group, so that this is also the separation between the connecting plate and the core wire. connectivity can be improved.
