Description
The present invention relates to a tunnel entry blocking system and method, and more particularly, to a tunnel entry blocking system and method configured to prepare for a fire in a tunnel by duplicating each of a power line and a data line.
A tunnel refers to a railway or road made by drilling under a terrain such as a mountain, sea, or river. Since the road is not exposed to the outside, such a tunnel cannot easily recognize the traffic situation, so a CCTV system is installed inside the tunnel, and a lamp is installed because there is little incoming light. In addition, an optical cable and a power supply cable are connected to the CCTV system to supply power to the CCTV system and to receive images obtained from the CCTV.
An optical cable installed in a tunnel generally consists of a ring network of ascending and descending lines, so even if one part is cut or lost, no problem occurs in the optical cable communication network of the CCTV system.
However, in the method of supplying power to the CCTV system, one circuit is configured for each uplink and downlink route in the management building or substation room.
Therefore, when the power supply cable of the uplink or downlink is short-circuited or lost due to a fire accident, etc., the CCTV system operation of the entire corresponding route is stopped because power is not supplied to the entire corresponding route.
In addition, all CCTV systems are shut down until the power supply cables are re-routed and completely restored. That is, when a traffic accident occurs inside the tunnel and leads to a vehicle fire, the power supply cable inside the tunnel is lost and the operation of the CCTV system is stopped, resulting in the operation of the traffic control system being stopped.
Therefore, there is a problem that is a cause of delay in the handling of accidents and a high possibility of expanding to the occurrence of many casualties due to the lack of traffic control.
