Description
The present invention relates to a voice coil motor.
BACKGROUND ART [0002] In recent years, mobile phones and the like with built-in micro digital cameras have been developed.
In the case of conventional micro digital cameras applied to cell phones, etc., it was not possible to adjust the distance between an image sensor and a lens that changes external light into a digital image or a digital image, but recently a voice coil motor and a voice coil motor The same lens driving device has been developed so that a more improved digital image or digital image can be obtained from a miniature digital camera.
In general, a lens is mounted inside the voice coil motor, and a bobbin disposed on the base moves upward from the base to adjust the distance between the lens and the image sensor disposed on the rear surface of the base.
In addition, since a leaf spring is coupled to the bobbin of the voice coil motor, when the voice coil motor is not operating, the bobbin is always in contact with the base by the elastic force of the leaf spring. That is, the bobbin of the conventional voice coil motor is driven in one direction toward the top with respect to the base.
Since the conventional voice coil motor is driven only in one direction, a driving force greater than the weight of the bobbin and the elastic force of the leaf spring is required to drive the voice coil motor, which greatly increases power consumption of the voice coil motor.
In addition, since driving force greater than the weight of the bobbin and the elastic force of the leaf spring is required to drive the voice coil motor, the size of the coil wound on the magnet or bobbin increases, resulting in an increase in the overall size of the voice coil motor.
