Description
The present invention relates to a superconducting cable. More particularly, the present invention relates to a superconducting cable having an improved ability to maintain a degree of vacuum over time by having an optimal getter pump with improved gas removal ability mounted on a vacuum unit for maintaining superconducting conditions of the superconducting cable.
Superconducting wire has a large power transmission ability even at a low voltage because the electrical resistance converges close to zero at a constant temperature.
A superconducting cable having such a superconducting wire uses a method of cooling using a refrigerant such as nitrogen to form and maintain a cryogenic environment and/or a method of thermal insulation of forming a vacuum layer.
Such a superconducting cable may generally include a superconducting shield layer for shielding electromagnetic waves induced by the superconducting conductor layer together with a superconducting conductor layer composed of a superconducting wire for power transmission. The superconducting shielding layer is also made of an expensive superconducting wire like the superconducting layer, so that electromagnetic waves induced by electric power transmitted from the superconducting layer can be shielded through the superconducting shielding layer.
The recently used second-generation superconducting wire is in the form of an oxide film deposited in multiple layers on a metal substrate, so it is called a coated conductor (hereinafter referred to as CC). The second-generation superconducting wire of YBCO or REBCO has high critical current characteristics in a magnetic field and has a critical current density that is several tens of times higher than that of the first-generation BSCCO wire, so it can replace the first-generation high-temperature superconducting wire since the early 1990s. As a next-generation superconducting wire, various manufacturing processes are being actively developed.
The superconducting system uses the characteristic that the resistance of the superconductor converges to zero at cryogenic temperatures to use the advantage of being able to transmit a large amount of current even at a relatively low voltage. The cryogenic environment of the superconductor must be ensured.
For the realization of superconducting characteristics, it is essential to maintain the cryogenic temperature of the conductor, and to maintain the cryogenic temperature of the superconductor, the vacuum degree of the vacuum container surrounding the conductor is maintained, so that the insulation function must operate normally. However, as time goes by, the adsorbed gas such as hydrogen and gaseous water inside the material constituting the container starts to be released into the vacuum region, the vacuum degree of the vacuum container drops and the superconducting properties of the superconducting cable are eventually lost. .
Therefore, in order to form a cryogenic temperature, which is a superconducting condition of a superconductor, the superconducting cable flows a liquid refrigerant through a cooling passage on the outside of the core part, and forms a vacuum part on the outside of the cooling passage to vacuum insulate the cooled superconductor, so that the superconductor of the superconductor make sure the conditions are maintained.
The method of forming the vacuum part inside the superconducting cable secures a spaced space capable of forming a vacuum, and physically prevents the inner surface and the outer surface of the spaced space from coming into contact with each other by providing at least one spacer in the space, , a method of vacuuming the separation space may be used.
Even if the vacuum unit configured by this method of forming a spaced space in a vacuum state maintains a vacuum state at the time of initial installation of the superconducting cable, gas is released for each layer constituting the superconducting cable over time, and the degree of vacuum increases. There is a problem that gradually deteriorates.
In order to solve the problem of the vacuum degree decrease, a getter pump is installed inside the vacuum unit to absorb the generated gas or moisture to maintain the vacuum level to absorb gas or moisture generated in each layer of the superconducting cable. Thus, the degree of vacuum can be maintained.
However, in the case of such a getter pump, when focusing on the gas absorption function, the water absorption ability is weak, and when focusing on the water absorption ability, the gas absorption function is deteriorated. In order to provide sufficient gas and water removal function, the getter pump There is a problem that the cost of the pump is greatly increased.
The present invention aims to solve the problem of providing a superconducting cable with an improved ability to maintain a degree of vacuum over time by providing an optimal getter pump with improved gas removal ability mounted on a vacuum unit for maintaining superconducting conditions of a superconducting cable. make it a task

In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the former 110 is shown to be configured in a clogged form, but the center of the former 110 is formed as a hollow part in order to increase the mountable area of the superconducting wire and to be used as a flow path for the cooling fluid. It is also possible to do When a hollow former is used, the area of the mounting surface of the superconducting wire can be secured even when the same element is used, and it can also be used as a circulation passage for a refrigerant.
Since several strands of circular cross-sectional
Although not shown in the drawings, a cushion layer may be further provided between the smoothing
In addition, as shown in FIG. 1 , the superconducting conductor layer 130 may be configured in multiple layers according to the capacity of the current to be transmitted or distributed through the superconducting cable.
In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, it is shown that a total of two
In the embodiment shown in Fig. 1, the superconducting layer 130 is an example composed of two layers of the first
In addition, the superconducting wires constituting each of the
An inner

상기 절연지는 크라프트지나 PPLP(Polypropylene Laminated Paper)가 주로 사용된다. The insulating paper is mainly kraft paper or PPLP (Polypropylene Laminated Paper). In the case of superconducting cables among various earth insulating materials, PPLP insulating paper may be used in consideration of ease of winding and dielectric strength characteristics.
The current flowing through the shielding layer made of the second-generation superconducting wire is designed to be about 95% of the current flowing through the superconducting layer, so that the leakage magnetic field can be minimized.
In this way, the
The cooling flow path provided in the
An
In order to maintain the initial performance even in a situation where such mechanical stress is applied, the
Since the
In addition, the
In particular, since the
The number of layers of the insulating

Since the heat insulating part is formed by winding a multi-layered insulating material coated with a thin polymer with low thermal conductivity on a metal film having high reflectivity, the total area of the insulating
If the gas containing the discharged hydrogen or gaseous water is not removed, after 5 years, the internal pressure, which is about 11 torr, which is greater than the required vacuum degree of 10 -4 torr, indicates that the vacuum state of the vacuum cannot be maintained. predictable.
It can be confirmed that 90% or more of the total gas discharge amount is accounted for, and it can be confirmed that in order to maintain the vacuum degree of the
Experimentally, the gas emitted from the
Since the getter pump has a different type of gas to be sucked or an operating environment for each material, and is relatively expensive, it is necessary to determine an appropriate amount of use and an installation location.
Accordingly, in the superconducting cable according to the present invention, at least one or more getter pumps are mounted between the
1 and 2, the
In addition, at least one of the
Accordingly, the positions of the
Hereinafter, the
Conventionally, only activated carbon (C) is used as a getter pump, but there is a problem in that the hydrogen gas absorption ability is lowered, and palladium oxide (PdO) is used as a getter pump to remove hydrogen gas, but palladium oxide ( PdO) has poor gas absorption ability at cryogenic temperatures.
The getter pump to be mounted on the superconducting cable according to the present invention is cobalt oxide (Co 3 O 4 ) as the first getter pump (530a), calcium oxide (CaO) and the third getter pump (530c) as the second getter pump (530b). ) as activated carbon (C).
Cobalt oxide (Co 3 O 4 ) as each of the
As the
However, as the
And in the case of the activated carbon (C) as the
Therefore, in order to remove hydrogen gas and gaseous water that are gradually released from the
In order to solve this problem, it is preferable to add calcium oxide (CaO) as the
Calcium oxide (CaO) maintains vacuum because it has the ability to adsorb not only water at room temperature, but also ancillary gases such as hydrogen (H 2 ), carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO 2 ), and oxygen (O 2 ). is helpful for
Therefore, when calcium oxide (CaO) is installed on the surface of the
Here, the hydrogen capture capacity of cobalt oxide (Co 3 O 4 ) as the
In summary, as the
The cobalt oxide (Co 3 O 4 ) has various absorption capabilities, but in addition to water in a state in particular at room temperature, additionally hydrogen (H 2 ), carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO 2 ), oxygen (O 2 ), etc. Since the adsorption ability for the accompanying gas of the
In addition, since the
Similarly, as the
In addition, as the
In addition, as the

As described above, cobalt oxide (Co 3 O 4 ) as the
In addition, the outer surface of the inner metal tube has a corrugation structure in which troughs and ridges are repeated, and the third getter pump 560c made of the activated carbon is installed in the trough between adjacent ridges of the
Cobalt oxide (Co 3 O 4 ) as the
In addition, the longitudinal spacing of the
On the other hand, each getter pump installed in the superconducting cable according to the present invention is to minimize heat intrusion by convection in the

A description that overlaps with the description with reference to FIGS. 1 to 4 will be omitted. 5 and 6 show a three-phase superconducting cable in which the number of
In addition, the embodiment shown in FIGS. 5 and 6 is different from the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 , in FIG. 4 , in which four superconducting conductor layers are provided in each core portion and two shielding layers are provided in each. The illustrated description is an example to which it can be applied.
Therefore, in the embodiment shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, when both the superconducting conductor layer and the superconducting shielding layer are composed of a plurality of layers, as described with reference to FIG. 4, the superconducting conductor layer 130 is the outermost superconducting conductor layer ( 130d), the metal substrate layer is arranged to face the center direction of the superconducting cable, and the superconducting shielding layer is arranged outside so that the superconducting layer of the superconducting wire constituting the innermost superconducting shielding layer faces the radial direction of the superconducting cable. The outermost superconducting conductor layer and the innermost superconducting shielding layer may minimize AC loss due to the magnetic field.
The three-phase superconducting cable may have a structure in which the
The superconducting cable shown in FIGS. 5 and 6 is also a physical and chemical method for hydrogen or gaseous water generated between the
In addition, as described above, the activated carbon (C) as the third getter pump (530c) may be added or omitted if necessary.
