The present invention relates to a method for concentrating raw materials for the production of methacrolein and methacrylic acid. More specifically, it relates to a method of concentrating isobutene contained in raffinate having 4 carbon atoms (C4), which is a by-product generated from the production process of butadiene.
Methyl methacrylate (MMA) is easy to mold, freely dyed, and has excellent transparency and UV protection, as well as being lightweight and strong against breakage, so it can be used for lenses, adhesives, cement, paint, latex, etc. As used for various industrial materials, in the vapor phase oxidation method (C4 direct acid method) using methyl methacrylate as a raw material, t-butanol or iso-butene, C4 residue is used as a raw material Thus, a method for preparing methacrylic acid by oxidizing isobutene contained in the raw material in a gas phase, followed by esterification with methanol, is well known.
In order to produce methacrylic acid (MAA), which acts as a binder and is used as an important main compound for the preparation of a polymer used finely dispersed in an aqueous medium, methacrolein is used as an intermediate product. often use
To this end, as a method for producing methacrolein or methacrylic acid is well known in the art, in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 6-192144, the catalyst is added from the inlet to the outlet of the raw material gas to increase the supported amount. A method for preparing methacrolein and methacrylic acid by gas phase contact with isobutylene or t-butanol has been disclosed, but it is difficult to prepare a different loading rate during catalyst preparation, and it takes a lot of time to input the catalyst.
Korean Publication No. 10-2000-0073109 discloses a gaseous additive that increases reaction selectivity and yield when methacrolein is produced by oxidizing isobutylene or t-butanol in a gas phase in the presence of a catalyst, and in 2005 Journal In the research paper of Catalysis, a method of treating a continuous feed of isobutene in a gas phase using a bismuth molybdate catalyst was disclosed, and in Korea Patent Publication No. 10-2015-7009116, in the presence of a catalyst containing bismuth and iron , methods for producing methacrolein and methacrylic acid by gas phase catalytic oxidation with molecular oxygen using isobutene, TBA and MTBE as raw materials have been disclosed, but there is a limit to only improving the efficiency of the catalyst. Since it can be directly introduced into the reactor for production, isobutene is fractionated from butene contained in a mixed hydrocarbon stream containing butene-1, butene-2 and a small amount of butadiene, as in Korean Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2002-0029083. A method for high purity separation of isobutene, which cannot be separated from butene-1 by , has been proposed, but a distillation column reactor containing an alumina supported palladium oxide catalyst for the mixed hydrocarbon stream has to be added to the process.
