Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a metal yarn, and more particularly, to a method for producing a metal yarn having an antibacterial effect.
Metal yarn refers to a yarn in which a metal material such as gold/silver is mixed with a yarn such as acrylic yarn or polyester yarn through an adhesive. Aluminum is widely used as a general metal material, and is manufactured using a film vacuum-deposited on aluminum on a transparent base made of polyester. Thereafter, a melamine resin and an epoxy resin are mixed on the opposite side of the aluminum vacuum-deposited film to add a dye, followed by coating and printing, and metal yarns of various colors are manufactured and sold. These metal yarns are widely used in the design industry and the clothing industry, giving excellent aesthetics with their distinctive softness and sparkle. Therefore, the adhesive strength, durability, and heat resistance of the adhesive used in the manufacturing process of the conventional metal yarn were the main standards of quality.
On the other hand, it is a widely known fact that it is difficult for bacteria or viruses to grow on a metal surface such as copper. Therefore, it is expected that metal yarns with metallic properties will also have some antibacterial functions, but bacteria or viruses can still grow in areas exposed to acrylic yarns or polyester yarns in addition to areas exposed to metal on the surface of conventional metal yarns. .
At the time the present invention is filed, if the clothing fabric has an antibacterial effect in a pandemic situation caused by COVID19, the spread of infectious diseases can be more effectively prevented. Therefore, an antibacterial yarn is required that prevents proliferation of bacteria or viruses by antibacterial treatment on the entire surface of the metal yarn, not only the exposed metal surface, but also the area exposed to the acrylic yarn or polyester yarn.

According to another embodiment of the present specification, the antimicrobial material may further include imidazole. The antimicrobial material containing cetylpyridinium chloride and imidazole may correspond to 1% by weight to 5% by weight compared to 100% by weight of the coating solution without the antimicrobial material. Preferably, the antimicrobial material including cetylpyridinium chloride and imidazole may correspond to 1.5% by weight to 2% by weight relative to 100% by weight of the coating solution without the antimicrobial material.
According to another embodiment of the present specification, the antimicrobial material may further include isopropyl alcohol. The isopropyl alcohol may serve as a solvent for dissolving the cetylpyridinium chloride and/or imidazole. At this time, the appearance of the antimicrobial substance is transparent as a whole, but becomes a pale yellow transparent solution, and may have a pH of 7 to 7.5 and a viscosity of 42 mPa. The antibacterial material including cetylpyridinium chloride and imidazole dissolved in the isopropyl alcohol may correspond to 1% by weight to 5% by weight compared to 100% by weight of the coating solution without the antimicrobial material. Preferably, the antimicrobial material including cetylpyridinium chloride and imidazole dissolved in the isopropyl alcohol may correspond to 1.5% by weight to 2% by weight relative to 100% by weight of the coating solution without the antimicrobial material.
It is obvious to those skilled in the art that the more antimicrobial substances mixed in the coating solution, the higher the antimicrobial power is expected. However, as the amount of the antibacterial substance mixed in the coating solution increases, the mixing ratio of the liquid resin that performs adhesive dynamics is relatively decreased. In this case, side effects may occur in the slitting step described later. That is, the mixing ratio of the antibacterial substance should be the minimum ratio for exerting the antibacterial activity, and at the same time, it should be mixed within the maximum ratio that does not cause side effects in the manufacturing process of the metal thread.
When proceeding to this point, a

3 to 5, first, a polyester film in which aluminum is deposited on at least one surface may be prepared (S210).
Next, the
Thereafter, the
Antibacterial coating film slitting>
6 is a reference diagram for slitting an antibacterial coated polyester film in a method for manufacturing a metal thread according to the present specification.
As shown in FIG. 6, the
In the slitting process, the importance of the mixing ratio of the antibacterial substance described above can be confirmed. As described above, as the number of antibacterial substances mixed in the coating solution increases, the antibacterial power increases, but the mixing ratio of the liquid resin that performs the adhesive dynamics is relatively decreased. It is preferable to pass through a predetermined aging time after coating the polyester film described above with a coating solution containing an antibacterial material. In the coating process, all solvents, etc. are blown away through a dryer, but it is desirable to have a aging time as the time for the resin serving as an adhesive to cure. However, at this time, the antibacterial material and/or the solid pigment may be a factor that interferes with curing with foreign substances during the curing of the resin. Although, when the amount of the antibacterial substance and/or the solid pigment is sufficiently small, it does not significantly affect the curing of the resin. In addition, even if a large number of antibacterial substances and/or solid pigments are agglomerated on a specific portion of the surface of the

Metallic Thread>
7 is a reference diagram of twisted metal yarn in a method of manufacturing a metal yarn according to the present specification.
The twisting process is a fixing by twisting any one or more of the antibacterial coated
Effect of antibacterial coated metal yarn>
The antibacterial coated metal yarn may have an antibacterial effect, and further, antiviral and deodorant functions can be expected. Conventional metal yarns can not be expected other than the physical blocking function against the penetration of external bacteria or viruses. Therefore, when a garment is made of a conventional metal yarn, there is a fear of smell, heat rash, chronic skin disease, or secondary infection due to sweat caused by the wearer's body temperature. However, when a garment is made of a metal yarn fabric containing an antibacterial material according to the present specification, it is possible to have a garment that is safe for the human body and has an immediate, continuous antibacterial/deodorant/antiviral effect. In addition, the fear of secondary infection caused by bacteria or viruses attached to clothes is reduced, and odors caused by sweat are removed, and skin diseases such as sweat rashes can be prevented and resolved.
On the other hand, there are various substances having an antibacterial effect, but according to the present specification, cetylpyridium chloride is most suitable for manufacturing metal yarns. The safety of Cetylpyridium chloride is GRAS grade (list of safety substances designated by FDA), which is harmless to the human body, and its antiviral effect to destroy the viral protein structure has been proven, and H1N1 (influenza) virus is 99.9% within 1 minute. As a substance whose viral effect has been confirmed, it is recognized for its immediate and lasting excellent antibacterial activity. In addition, it has antibacterial activity against pneumococcus (99.9%), Staphylococcus aureus (99.9%), Escherichia coli (99.9%) and many other bacteria, and ammonia 99.8%, methyl mercaptan 99.3%, hydrogen sulfide 99.9%, trimethylamine 99.9% It is known to have excellent deodorizing/deodorizing power, such as 99.9% of isovaleric acid. However, this effect is not necessarily the independent effect of cetylpyridinium chloride, and other antibacterial substances with similar effects exist. However, among various antibacterial substances, cetylpyridium chloride has properties suitable for manufacturing metal yarns.
Metal yarns containing an antimicrobial material should have additional antibacterial effects while the scratch resistance, solvent resistance, chemical resistance, tensile strength and elongation effects of conventional metal yarns are guaranteed. Therefore, even if an antimicrobial substance is added to the process of mixing the coating solution more specifically in the metal yarn manufacturing process, intrinsic properties such as pH, viscosity, compatibility, curing conditions, elongation, solvent resistance, chemical resistance, and scratch resistance of the coating solution It should remain the same. Generally, antimicrobial agents such as copper or silver are composed of powder, so that the coating solution and solubility for the manufacture of metal yarns are lowered, and there is a high possibility of defects. In addition, when the antibacterial material as described above is used, the sparkle due to the effect of the surface deposition is canceled out, and the dispersion of the coating liquid and the powder antibacterial agent is impossible, so it is very difficult to maintain the active ingredient at a constant density. In addition, it is not suitable because the antimicrobial agent in the powder form is precipitated or the antimicrobial agent powder is lifted to the surface of the coating solution while the coating solution is stored. Due to such precipitation or lifting problems, most antibacterial powders are mixed with raw materials (pellets, powders) of plastic materials, not liquid coatings, and are produced as flat films by extrusion, but they are not applicable to films requiring high transmittance such as PET. .
Therefore, in order to manufacture an antibacterial film (fabric) that exhibits the inherent efficacy of metal yarns (excellent gloss), the antibacterial agent must be dissolved and dissolved in the coating agent (100% dissolution), and the antibacterial agent has no effect on the inherent properties of the existing coating agent. Should not be given, and antibacterial activity must be guaranteed. In addition, cetylpyridinium chloride is suitable because the bonding strength with the surface of the PET deposition film is also excellent, so that the coating agent should not be broken when the film is rubbed or broken after coating/drying, and storage stability must be ensured.
