Description
The present invention claims the benefit of the filing date of Korean Patent Application No. 10-2018-0055103 filed with the Korean Intellectual Property Office on May 14, 2018, the entire contents of which are incorporated herein.
The present specification relates to a compound and an organic light emitting device including the same.
In general, the organic light emission phenomenon refers to a phenomenon in which electrical energy is converted into light energy using an organic material. An organic light emitting device using the organic light emitting phenomenon has a structure including an anode, a cathode, and an organic material layer therebetween. Here, the organic material layer is often made of a multi-layered structure composed of different materials in order to increase the efficiency and stability of the organic light emitting device. For example, it may be formed of a hole injection layer, a hole transport layer, a light emitting layer, an electron transport layer, an electron injection layer, and the like. In the structure of such an organic light-emitting device, when a voltage is applied between the two electrodes, holes are injected from the anode and electrons from the cathode are injected into the organic material layer, and excitons are formed when the injected holes and electrons meet. It glows when it falls back to the ground.
Development of a new material for the organic light emitting device as described above is continuously required.

Hereinafter, the present specification will be described in more detail.
The present specification provides a compound represented by Chemical Formulas 101 to 105.
In the structure of the above formula, the bond strength between the ligand and the metal increases and the vibration level decreases, thereby reducing the half width and providing high luminous efficiency. In addition, as the position of the substituent of R1 moves away from the metal atom, the size of the molecule increases, which prevents agglomeration between dopants, thereby reducing the self-quenching effect and increasing the lifetime. Accordingly, by using the structure of the present invention as a light emitting material for an organic material layer, it is possible to improve efficiency, high color purity, and lifespan characteristics in an organic light emitting device.
In the above formula, the ligand containing L1 and L2 is a structure in parentheses represented by the repetition number m. The structure is different from that. All ligands are the same, that is, the homogeneous ligand complex containing three identical ligands has an even direction of light emission, whereas the heterogeneous ligand complexes containing ligands of different structures have a larger light emission orientation in the vertical direction, resulting in increased efficiency of light emission. high. Therefore, in Formula 1, m is preferably 1 or 2.

A glass substrate coated with a thin film of 1,400Å of ITO (Indium Tin Oxide) was put in distilled water dissolved in a detergent and washed with ultrasonic waves. At this time, a Decon™ CON705 product from Fischer Co. was used as a detergent, and distilled water secondarily filtered with a 0.22㎛ sterilizing filter manufactured by Millipore Co. was used as distilled water. After washing the ITO for 30 minutes, it was repeated twice with distilled water to perform ultrasonic cleaning for 10 minutes. After washing with distilled water was finished, ultrasonic cleaning was performed for 10 minutes with a solvent of isopropyl alcohol, acetone, and methanol, and dried, and then transported to a plasma cleaner. In addition, after cleaning the substrate for 5 minutes using oxygen plasma, the substrate was transported to a vacuum evaporator.
On the thus prepared ITO transparent electrode, a mixture of 95% by weight of HT-A and 5% by weight of P-DOPANT was thermally vacuum deposited to a thickness of 100Å, and then only HT-A was deposited to a thickness of 1150Å to form a hole transport layer. On the hole transport layer, the following HT-B was thermally vacuum deposited to a thickness of 950 Å to form an electron blocking layer. Subsequently, a mixture of 98% by weight of RH as a host and 2% by weight of [Compound 1] as a dopant was vacuum deposited to a thickness of 360Å on the electron blocking layer to form a light emitting layer. Subsequently, on the emission layer, the following ET-A was vacuum deposited to a thickness of 50 Å to form a hole blocking layer. Next, the following ET-B and Liq are mixed in a weight ratio of 2:1 on the hole blocking layer and thermally vacuum layered to a thickness of 250Å to form an electron transport layer, and then LiF and magnesium are mixed in a weight ratio of 1:1. Voltage, efficiency, emission spectrum, and lifetime (T97) were measured by applying a current to the organic light emitting device prepared in the Experimental Examples and Comparative Experimental Examples, and the results are shown in Table 1 below. Here, voltage and efficiency were measured by applying a current density of 10 mA/cm 2 , and the half width was measured from the emission spectrum obtained at this time. Life (T97) means the time until the initial luminance decreases to 97% at the current density of 20mA/cm 2 . Each value is expressed as a relative ratio to the value of Comparative Example 1.

The compound of the present invention has a structure in which one more nitrogen element serving as an electron acceptor is contained in the quinoline structure of Comparative Example 1 and one more phenyl ring serving as an electron donor is condensed. These two effects cancel each other to have an appropriate energy level, it can be seen that the voltage similar to that of Comparative Example 1. When the energy level is changed, the voltage increases by trapping electrons or holes, and the wavelength is changed, so that performance suitable for a red light emitting device cannot be achieved. In the compound of the present invention, the strength of the bond between the ligand and the metal increases, thereby reducing the vibration level, which leads to a reduction in half width and high efficiency. In addition, as the position of the substituent of R1 moves away from the metal atom, the size of the molecule increases, which prevents agglomeration between dopants and reduces the self-quenching effect, thereby increasing the lifetime.
In addition, the homologous ligand complex such as RD-2 of Comparative Example 2 has a uniform light emission direction, whereas the heterogeneous ligand complexes such as the
In the case of Comparative Example 3 in which the moiety corresponding to A in Formulas 101 to 105 of the present invention is benzofuran, it can be seen that in the case of phenyl, relatively high voltage, low efficiency, and low lifespan are shown.
In Comparative Examples 4 and 5, the number of nitrogen elements serving as electron acceptors is different from the present invention, which results in higher voltage, lower efficiency, and lower lifespan compared to the compounds of the present invention.
In the case of Comparative Examples 6 and 7, it can be seen that the lifespan is shorter than that in the case of using
Therefore, as can be seen from [Table 1], when the materials of the present invention are used as dopants of the light emitting layer of an organic electroluminescent device, a high-efficiency, high-purity, long-life device can be obtained.
