Description
The present invention relates to a solar cell, wherein a method of manufacturing a rear electrode solar cell in which a first electrode and a second electrode are simultaneously located on the rear surface of a solar cell, a rear electrode solar cell manufactured thereby, and a rear surface using the rear electrode solar cell It relates to an electrode solar cell module.
Due to the depletion of fossil fuels, environmental pollution, and global warming, the need to develop new and renewable energy is increasing, and environmentally friendly and infinitely renewable solar cells are drawing attention as the next-generation energy source.
In general, in a solar cell, when sunlight is incident inside the solar cell to form an electron-hole pair, electrons move to the n-layer and holes move to the p-layer, and photovoltaic power is generated between the pn junctions. When a load or system is connected at both ends, current flows.
These solar cells are not only in the field for terrestrial power generation, but also in accordance with the demands of recent consumers, there is a need to develop ultra-light thin film type flexible solar cells that are convenient to carry, excellent in flexibility, and exhibit stable power generation efficiency, and technologies therefor.
In general, a flexible solar cell uses a flexible substrate, and FIG. 1 shows the structure of a conventional flexible
In the conventional solar cell, as shown in FIG. 1(b), since the front electrode and the rear electrode are located above and below the solar cell, a wire-bonding process is required in order to electrically connect them.
Meanwhile, in order to meet the rated voltage, conventional solar cells have been used as modules by connecting solar cells in series or in parallel.
Flexible substrates used in conventional flexible solar cells mostly use plastics with good flexibility such as polyimide. Since such a plastic substrate is a non-conductor, the connection method of the rear electrode is somewhat complicated when manufacturing the module.
Filling the flexible substrate with an ECA (electroconductive adhesive) in the same manner as in FIG. 2, and the front electrode of the
This requires interconnection through wire-bonding or ribbon-bonding process by designing the area of the
In addition, when the electrodes are connected through the bonding process, there is a problem in that reliability may be caused in the future due to the connection part, and it is very difficult to apply it to a pick-and place or transfer process technology that is advantageous for production automation, resulting in a problem of lowering productivity.
The present invention is to solve the above problem, by forming an electrode connection part electrically connected to the first electrode and the second electrode on a flexible substrate, so that the first electrode and the second electrode are simultaneously located on the rear surface of the solar cell. An object thereof is to provide a method of manufacturing a battery, a rear electrode solar cell manufactured thereby, and a rear electrode solar cell module using the rear electrode solar cell.
