Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a liquefied nitrogen power generation system, and more specifically, to a liquefied nitrogen power generation system capable of producing load-responsive power in real time by using excess liquefied nitrogen generated in an air separation device of a pure oxygen combustion power generation system. .
In general, in a combined thermal power generation system, since the outlet temperature of the gas turbine is kept high at 500°C to 600°C, a steam Rankine cycle was introduced in order to create useful work using such high-temperature waste heat. However, in the steam Rankine cycle, when steam expands in the turbine despite its excellent thermal efficiency, corrosion of the turbine blades and the large volume of heat exchangers including the steam turbine have been raised as problems. Accordingly, research on a supercritical carbon dioxide Brayton cycle using carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) as a working fluid, not a Rankine cycle using steam, is being conducted.
The supercritical Brayton cycle refers to a thermodynamic cycle in which the working fluid maintains a condition above the critical point in all parts of the cycle, and the compressor inlet condition, which is the minimum operating temperature and pressure condition of the cycle, is located just above the critical point.
The power generation system using supercritical carbon dioxide (S-CO 2 ) as a working fluid can reduce compression work during compression under temperature and pressure conditions near the critical point of carbon dioxide (30.98°C, 7.37 MPa), so that the temperature of the heat source is 450°C or higher. At 750°C, thermal efficiency is thermodynamically equivalent to that of the steam Rankine cycle. In addition, since the specific volume is kept small throughout the power generation system, there is an advantage of reducing the size of the main components such as compressors, turbines, and heat exchangers. Therefore, research on power generation systems in connection with various heat sources such as solar heat, waste heat recovery, geothermal heat, and fuel cells, as well as the nuclear field, is in progress.
이에 따라, 연료의 산화제로서 공기 대신에 산소(O2) 특히, 95% 이상의 순산소를 이용하여 연료를 연소시키는 순산소 연소 발전 시스템에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있다.Meanwhile, conventional combined cycle power generation systems generate power by burning fossil fuels such as coal, oil, and natural gas, and traditionally, air combustion using air as an oxidizing agent has been applied. However, this traditional air combustion method contains about 79% of nitrogen, an inert gas, in the air, so a significant portion of the calorific value is consumed to heat nitrogen during air combustion, resulting in lower flame temperature, and The heat loss is quite large, and the concentration of carbon dioxide in the flue gas is as low as 13 to 16%, and the flow rate of the flue gas is also increased, so it takes considerable cost to recover high-concentration carbon dioxide and removes nitrogen oxides (NO x ). There is a difficult drawback. Accordingly, research on a pure oxygen combustion power generation system in which fuel is combusted by using oxygen (O 2 ), particularly, more than 95% pure oxygen instead of air as an oxidizing agent of the fuel, is being conducted.
Unlike the conventional gas turbine power generation system, the pure oxygen combustion power generation system refers to a system that performs combustion using only oxygen and fuel inside the combustor. Since the pure oxygen combustion power generation system uses pure oxygen instead of air in the atmosphere, nitrogen does not exist in the combustion conditions, so it can fundamentally block the emission of nitrogen oxides (NO x ), which are the main causes of environmental pollution. It is receiving great attention as an eco-friendly power generation method.
In accordance with these recent technological trends, a pure oxygen combustion power generation system using supercritical carbon dioxide (S-CO 2 ) in which the supercritical Brayton cycle is combined with the pure oxygen power generation cycle as a working fluid and a plan to improve the thermal efficiency of the power generation system Research on the field is being actively conducted.

Meanwhile, the liquefied nitrogen
The former series connection structure has the advantage that the temperature range of the hot oil storage tank can be maximized and the amount of hot oil required is less than that of the parallel connection structure, while the maximum temperature of the turbine is not high. On the other hand, the latter parallel connection structure has the advantage of maintaining the highest temperature of the turbine higher than that of the series connection structure, while the temperature range of the compressor heat source is not fully utilized, and the amount of heat oil required is higher than that of the series connection structure. There are drawbacks.
