It is about.
The reactor system includes a reactor vessel including a core, a steam generator for generating steam using the heat of the core, a pressurizer for buffering the pressure of the system, a circulation pump for circulating coolant for cooling the system, and the like. The steam generated by the steam generator produces electricity by operating a turbine connected to the generator.
On the other hand, if the reactor vessel is damaged due to some factor, the
In order to prevent such a core melt leakage accident, the reactor vessel outer wall is cooled by supplying cold water from the outside to the outer lower space of the reactor vessel and submerging the reactor vessel.
The low temperature water supply pipe for supplying the low temperature water is provided with a valve, the valve is a control signal of the reactor management system when the temperature value measured by the temperature measuring device installed in a specific position in the space around the reactor vessel exceeds the set value It was supposed to be opened by.
However, in the case of the active control system as described above, if there is an abnormality in the management system or the integrity of the temperature measuring instrument and the accuracy of the measurement signal, the valve may not be opened even in an emergency situation. If water is not supplied, there is a problem in that the reactor vessel is melted and core melt leakage accident occurs.
Accordingly, the present invention has been made to solve the above problems, the reactor in response to the rise of the temperature of the outer wall of the reactor vessel in an emergency situation that the meltdown of the reactor vessel is concerned by the core melting, the cold water supply pipe is opened to ensure the reactor It is an object of the present invention to provide a passive reactor vessel outer wall cooling apparatus which is capable of preventing the melting of the vessel and hence the core melt leakage accident.
The present invention for achieving the above object, the reactor vessel including the core, the heat insulating material surrounding the outside of the reactor vessel, a low temperature water supply pipe for supplying low temperature water to the lower portion of the reactor vessel, the low temperature water The low temperature water supplied to the supply pipe is shielded to the outlet of the cold water tank and the cold water supply pipe, and when the temperature of the reactor vessel is excessively increased, the melt is removed by heat transferred from the reactor vessel to open the outlet of the cold water supply pipe. The low temperature molten alloy body may be coupled to the outlet of the low temperature water supply pipe by pressing, welding, or screwing.
A weight body is installed at an end portion of the low temperature molten alloy body outside the outlet.

Since the passive reactor vessel outer wall cooling device responds directly to the temperature rise of the reactor vessel, the outlet of the low temperature water supply pipe is passively opened. Therefore, the temperature of the
When the temperature of the
Therefore, since the outlet of the low temperature
The discharged low temperature water submerges the
Therefore, the leakage of the
Since the low-
On the other hand, if the cooling of the
On the other hand, the steam generated in the cooling process of the
