Description
The present invention relates to a battery module for a vehicle, and more particularly, a channel block in which a plurality of channels are formed has a structure in which sliding blocks are assembled to a partition frame, so that the area of the channel is not reduced, so that the air flows smoothly, thereby speeding up the battery cell. The present invention relates to a vehicle battery module capable of cooling.
In general, research is being actively conducted in that electric vehicles (EVs) or hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) are the most likely alternatives to solve future automobile pollution and energy problems.
Electric vehicles mainly use a battery composed of a secondary battery powered by an AC or DC motor using a battery power source as a main power source.
On the other hand, a battery used in an electric vehicle connects a plurality of battery cells to form a module, and connects a plurality of such modules to form a battery pack. In addition, the battery pack is installed in the electric vehicle and used as a driving source of the electric vehicle. The battery cell supplies the vehicle with the necessary power while repeatedly charging and discharging while driving the vehicle.
The performance of such a battery module of the electric vehicle greatly depends on the temperature, and particularly at high temperatures, the electrolyte decomposes and the life of the battery cell is significantly reduced due to damage of the battery cell due to deterioration.
Therefore, in order to prevent overheating of the battery cell, the battery module is provided with cooling means for cooling the battery cell. The cooling means may be divided into air-cooled or water-cooled. The air-cooled type cools the battery cell by introducing external air from the battery module, and the water-cooled type cools the battery cell by contacting the jacket in which the coolant flows.
The conventional battery module having such an air-cooled structure has a structure in which a cartridge unit having a battery cell and a heat dissipation unit that is cooled by air by receiving heat from the battery cell are alternately stacked in a case, and the temperature of the battery cell is alternately stacked. The temperature sensor for measuring the inside of the case is provided in the blower according to the temperature of the battery cell measured by the temperature sensor to supply air to the heat dissipation unit to cool the battery cell.
In other words, the cartridge unit is provided with a buffer pad inside the cartridge frame having a rectangular frame shape, and battery cells are installed at both sides of the cartridge frame around the buffer pad to be in surface contact with the buffer pad.
1 and 2, the
At this time, the
In addition, in order to integrally fix the
As described above, in the related art in which the heat sink 12 and the
When lifting occurs at the
In addition, as described above, the
However, when the
In addition, when the
In addition, in order to install a temperature sensor for measuring the temperature of the battery cell to form a separate structure inside the case, but in this case, the temperature between the temperature sensor and the battery cell is far away from the battery cell temperature to accurately measure There is a problem that the reliability is reduced.
The present invention is to solve the above problems, to minimize the thickness of the heat dissipation unit can be compact the volume of the battery module, the vehicle battery module that can stably form a channel to flow the air cooling the heat sink The purpose is to provide.
