Description
The present invention relates to a photocatalytic antibacterial structure and a method of manufacturing the same, and more particularly, to a structure having an antibacterial function for destroying bacteria and viruses through a photocatalytic reaction on the surface of a structure and a method for producing the same.
Many bacterium and viruses are proliferating in plastic panels, smart phone display windows, and interior and exterior materials that are in contact with the body in daily life. Therefore, when the body is exposed to such a microorganism, a human infection is caused by the microorganism, and various diseases can be caused thereby.
Accordingly, researches on antibacterial materials for effectively killing microorganisms have been actively conducted. A typical antimicrobial material is a photocatalyst material. Photocatalyst is a type of catalyst that changes the reaction rate or initiates a chemical reaction without changing itself in any chemical reaction, and is characterized in that its catalytic action is caused by receiving light energy. During the photocatalytic reaction, reactive oxygen species are generated. Active oxygen species are more active than general oxygen, unstable, and have high energy, so they can easily decompose organic substances and decompose microorganisms.
Therefore, an antimicrobial structure is manufactured by attaching a photocatalyst material to the surface of a substrate such as a panel or a film in the form of a thin film. At this time, the photocatalytic thin film is produced mainly by sol-gel method, as disclosed in the patent documents of the following prior art documents. However, according to the surface treatment technique using the sol-gel method, the transparency is lowered, the surface property is changed due to the low thin film coating property, and the photocatalytic material is aggregated and the photocatalytic function is lowered. Further, since the photocatalyst material can not firmly bind to the surface of the substrate, ions having toxicity are released to cause environmental pollution, and durability is lowered.
Accordingly, there is a desperate need for a solution to the problem of the antibacterial structure based on the conventional photocatalytic reaction.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention provides a photocatalytic antimicrobial structure in which a metal oxide atom causing a photocatalytic reaction forms a mononuclear layer having a nanocrystal structure on a surface of a target object.

According to the present invention, nanocrystalline nanocrystalline films are formed by a metal oxide monovalent element that causes a photocatalytic reaction on the surface of a target body of an antimicrobial structure, so that the size of particles constituting the nanotilm is smaller than the wavelength of light, The antimicrobial structure has high efficiency of photocatalytic activity.
In addition, since the nano thin film is deposited on the surface of the object by the atomic layer deposition technique, the binding energy between the constituent particles is increased, thereby the metal oxide is not easily released and the durability is maintained. .

1 is an enlarged cross-sectional view showing an enlarged cross-section of a photocatalytic antibacterial structure according to the present invention.
1, the photocatalytic antibacterial structure according to the present invention includes a
Many kinds of bacteria and viruses are proliferating in a variety of objects contacting with the body during daily activities. As a result, human infection and diseases caused by microorganisms occur, so that interest in antibacterial materials is increasing. Typically, an antimicrobial structure in which a photocatalyst material that decomposes and kills microorganisms by generating active oxygen species when light is irradiated is adhered to the surface of a substrate such as a panel or a film in the form of a thin film. However, in the case of the conventional antimicrobial structure, the photocatalyst material is coated on the surface of the substrate using a sol-gel technique in the form of a thin film. The sol-gel surface treatment method decreases the transparency of the thin film, changes the surface properties of the substrate, The function is degraded. Further, the photocatalyst material is easily dissolved, causing environmental pollution caused by toxic ions and deterioration of durability. Accordingly, a photocatalytic antibacterial structure according to the present invention has been developed in order to overcome the problems of conventional antibacterial structures based on photocatalytic reaction.
Specifically, the photocatalytic antibacterial structure according to the present invention includes the
The
The nano
In the present invention, the composition of the nano
At this time, the
The formation of the nano
When the nano
In general, according to the present invention, a nano-
Hereinafter, a method of manufacturing a photocatalytic antibacterial structure according to the present invention will be described. However, the description overlapping with the above-mentioned contents may be omitted or described only briefly.
2 is a process diagram showing a method for producing a photocatalytic antibacterial structure according to the present invention.
As shown in FIG. 2, the method for manufacturing a photocatalytic antibacterial structure according to the present invention comprises the steps of: (a) disposing a target object having a predetermined shape in a chamber (S100); (b) (S300) of forming a metal oxide atom layer by injecting an oxidizing agent for oxidizing the metal atom layer into the chamber (step S200), and injecting a precursor gas to form a metal atom layer on the object .
The above-described photocatalytic antibacterial structure is produced according to the following method.
First, the object is placed in the chamber (S100). Here, the object is not particularly limited as a kind of object such as a part or material capable of microbial growth.
When the object is placed, a metal precursor gas is injected into the chamber (S200). Here, the metal included in the metal precursor gas may be, for example, titanium, zinc, iron, or vanadium. In the chamber, the metal precursor chemically reacts with the surface of the object to be adsorbed. At this time, metal atoms form an atomic layer and form a nano-thick film.
Next, an oxidant is injected into the chamber (S300). At this time, the oxidizing agent oxidizes the metal atom layer to produce a metal oxide atom layer. Here, the specific oxidizing agent may include deionized water vapor, or hydrogen peroxide vapor. As a result, the oxygen content in the nano thin film is increased. At this time, the oxidizing agent supplies an appropriate amount depending on the oxygen content. On the other hand, as the oxidizing agent, a gas containing a radical generated by oxygen plasma, ozone, nitrous oxide, or inductively coupled plasma thereof may be used. When the nano thin film is formed by the metal oxide atom layer, the nano thin film generates an active oxygen species through the photocatalytic reaction, and thus the nano thin film becomes an antimicrobial action.
On the other hand, before the oxidant injection (S300), the unreacted gas may be present in the supplied metal precursor gas without reacting with the surface of the object, so that the purge process can be additionally performed. The purge gas used here is an inert gas having a very low reactivity, for example, argon may be used. The purge process can be performed for 0.1 to 100 seconds, and the metal precursor gas remaining in the chamber is not adsorbed to the object through the process.
Further, even after the oxidant injection (S300), the oxidant can remain in the chamber, and the residual oxidant can be removed using the purge gas.
