Referring to FIGS. 6 to 10, it can be seen that the uniformity of the light transmitted to the
In FIGS. 6 to 10, the lower part shows a light-incoming part closest to the
6 shows the distribution of the amount of light emitted to the upper portion of the display panel when the length l2 from the light-incoming portion to the second bent portion 326b is 0.1 times the length l1 from the light-incoming portion to the light- Represents the distribution of the amount of light emitted to the upper portion of the display panel when the length 12 from the light portion to the second bent portion 326b is 0.2 times the length 11 from the light-incoming portion to the light-out portion. When the position of the second bent portion 326b is close to the light incident portion, the angle formed between the
8 shows the distribution of the amount of light emitted to the upper portion of the display panel when the length l2 from the light-incoming portion to the second bent portion 326b is 0.3 times the length l1 from the light-incoming portion to the light- Represents the distribution of the amount of light emitted to the upper portion of the display panel when the length l2 from the light portion to the second bent portion 326b is 0.4 times the length l1 from the light-incoming portion to the light-out portion. There is a uniform distribution of light both near and far from the light emitter.
10 shows the distribution of the amount of light emitted to the upper portion of the display panel when the length 12 from the light-incoming portion to the second bent portion 326b is 0.5 times the length 11 from the light-incoming portion to the light-out portion. The far point from the light emitter is brightly displayed, but the point near the light emitter is dark. When the position of the second bent portion 326b is far from the light incident portion, the angle formed between the
Therefore, it is preferable that the position of the second bent portion 326b is determined so that light can be evenly distributed from the light-incoming portion to the light-facing portion. As a result of experiments, it is preferable that the length 12 from the light-incoming portion to the second bent portion 326b is 0.2 times or more and 0.5 times or less the length 11 from the light-incoming portion to the light-out portion. It is more preferable that the length 12 from the light-incoming portion to the second bent portion 326b is 0.3 times or more and 0.4 times or less the length 11 from the light-incoming portion to the light-out portion.
Referring again to FIG. 2, the
11 and 12, one end of the

The reflector may be integrally formed with the
Furthermore, the lower cover can be formed integrally with the

In the first embodiment, the
In addition, a plurality of

Although the
Also, a plurality of

Next, a display device according to a fourth embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 18 and 19. FIG.
The display device according to the fourth embodiment of the present invention is the same as that of the first embodiment, and a description thereof will be omitted and only differences will be described below. The greatest difference from the first embodiment is that the light emitted from the light source is disposed so as to be able to travel at an oblique angle with the display panel, which will be described in more detail below.
18 is an enlarged cross-sectional view showing an enlarged part of a display device according to a fourth embodiment of the present invention.
In the first embodiment, the light source is attached to the upper surface of the circuit board, and the circuit board is coupled to the first side of the lower cover. Therefore, the main emission direction of light is parallel to the display panel.
On the other hand, in the fourth embodiment, the
Accordingly, the angle? Formed by the
19, it can be seen that the occurrence of light leakage at the edge of the
19 is a graph showing the relationship of the distance-luminance from the light-incoming portion according to the angle (?) Formed by the main emission direction of light with the display panel.
When the angle? Formed by the
When the angle? Formed by the
In addition, it can be seen that the light leakage generated in the light-incident portion is further reduced when the angle? Formed by the
