Description
The present invention relates to a process for producing a continuous fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composite which is able to complete the process of transformation under heating / pressing only by using the material characteristics of the thermoplastic composite.
Composite materials that enable the development of new functions by using two or more kinds of different materials are mainly aimed at not only lighter weight but also high nasal rigidity, inelasticity and enhanced mechanical properties, and are used for aircraft, ship, , Electric and electronic parts, and the like which require strength, rigidity and durability of the product.
In particular, the continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic (CFRT) can be applied to a stamping molding method similar to a metal forming method, and thus has a high productivity and an advantage in that the degree of freedom in design is superior to that of a metal. Therefore, Employment is spreading.
The continuous fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composite material is produced by impregnating a continuous fiber bundle with a thermoplastic resin to produce a yarn-like composite, woven using the composite produced thereon, applying the woven composite to a liquid thermoplastic resin, And is produced in the form of a sheet.
Such a series of processes is generally not performed continuously but is divided into individual steps, and the woven fabric is rolled up into a roll, stored / moved, and then unwound and cut by a necessary amount every time it is needed, .
That is, a fabric having a predetermined area is continuously woven by intersecting a warp (warp yarn) and a weft yarn (weft yarn (yarn laid in the transverse direction) alternately up and down) After the winding is completed by a predetermined amount, the fabric is cut, and the new roll is wound by replacing with a new winding roller.
In the case of the roll fabric, the slope and weft of the selge are exposed in a state of being broken, and the processing is performed to make it possible to withstand the post-process without loosening or loosening.
In general, the process of filing is to prevent the rolls from being loosened by weaving yarns in a zigzag manner. The continuous fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composite material is also subjected to a filament process before winding using a winding roller after weaving.
In particular, in the case of tape fabrics made of continuous fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composite material (when the weft and warp width are more than 20 mm, they are called "tape fabrics"), there is little frictional force between weft and warp yarns, It is difficult to maintain the roll shape and it is necessary to unwind the roll.
However, in the case of using a yarn as a yarn in a fabric having a wide width and a smooth surface, such as a tape fabric, some of yarns woven in zigzags during the transferring / storing process can not be retained, If it is deviated, there is a problem that the part is caught in the other part and the rest is released.
In addition, when the tape-woven composite material wound in a roll unit is applied to a post-process, it is cut and used only as much as necessary. Since only a part of the tap fabric composite is cut in the width direction but not in the entire width direction, There is a problem in that the fabric can not be maintained and is loosened.
An embodiment of the present invention relates to a method for producing a continuous fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composite material, and a method for manufacturing a continuous fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composite material capable of completing the modification treatment only by heating / pressing using the material characteristics of the thermoplastic composite material .
In order to accomplish the above object, the present invention provides a method for producing a continuous fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composite material, comprising the steps of uniformly spreading a bundle of glass fibers on a thermoplastic film, a step of covering the thermoplastic film on the stretched glass fiber, A weaving step of weaving the composite body by feeding the composite body in a warp and weft, a weaving step of thermally fusing the both ends in the width direction of the woven composite body at predetermined intervals along the longitudinal direction, and a winding step of winding the heat- .
The present invention has the following various effects.

Second, since the present invention does not use a yarn to perform a transformation process, it is possible to solve the problem that a yarn is caught in the vicinity of the transfer / storage and is released continuously.
Third, the present invention has the effect of forming a fused portion at predetermined intervals in the longitudinal direction as well as the width direction of the composite, so that even if a user cuts only a part of the composite, the remaining portion is not released.
Fourth, since the present invention uses a yarn, a tape, or the like, it is processed by heat fusion without being subjected to a transformation process, so that a very neat appearance can be maintained, which is very excellent in merchantability.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings, and the same reference numerals are given to the background art and the constituent elements of the constitution which have already been described.
In addition, the description of the method of producing a continuous fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composite of the present invention is not intended to limit the present invention to the preferred embodiment, but may be embodied in various forms, and the shape, But it is not fixed, and it can be changed variously if the same / similar effect can be realized.
1, a continuous fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composite manufacturing method according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a dispersion step S100, a bonding step S200, a weaving step S300, a deforming step S400, Step S00 and finishing step S600.
The dispersing step S100 is a step of uniformly spreading the glass fiber bundles on the thermoplastic film. The glass fiber bundle is not particularly limited as long as it is ordinarily used in a continuous fiber reinforced composite (plastic), but it is preferable to select a glass fiber that has been subjected to sizing in order to increase the chemical bonding force.
Further, the diameter of the glass fiber is preferably as small as possible, but it is preferable that the glass fiber has a diameter of 15 to 20 micrometers. The glass fiber bundles can be uniformly spread by progressively widening using a convex bar and a guide bar, and the number of the convex bar and the guide bar used can be adjusted as needed.
The guide bar serves to prevent the glass fiber bundle from escaping and guides the glass fiber bundle. The convex bar serves to uniformly spread the glass fiber bundle in the form of a sheet. The bundle of glass fiber bundles is used as a thermoplastic film Lt; / RTI >
The bonding step (S200) is a step of covering the thermoplastic film on the stretched glass fiber and applying heat to produce a bonded body.
The joining step S200 is performed by heating the laminate in the order of the thermoplastic film-glass fiber bundle-thermoplastic film in the temperature range of 120 ° C to 280 ° C, pressing the laminate in the vertical direction, heating / The thermoplastic film is melted and joined together with the glass fiber bundles accommodated therein.
On the other hand, the thermoplastic film may be formed as a single surface, but a plurality of fold lines may be formed at regular intervals so as to be laminated in a multilayer structure.
That is, it is possible to fold or fold in the zigzag form into multiple layers by folding or unfolding based on the fold line formed on the surface of the thermoplastic film.
Such a multi-layer structure may be formed by covering a thermoplastic film on a bundle of glass fibers and folding the multilayer structure by heating / pressing the bundle of glass fibers when the bundling step S200 is performed. Thus, it is possible to manufacture a multilayered bonded body, It is possible to produce a multi-layered bonded body by heating / pressing again.
When the width of the bonded body is manufactured to be 20 mm or more, the tape fabric composite 1 can be manufactured through a weaving step (S300) described later.
The weaving step S300 is a step of weaving the composite 1 by supplying the joined body manufactured through the bonding step S200 to the
In this weaving step (S300) is performed through a separate weaving device. When a plurality of elongated joined bodies are supplied to the weaving machine, the
The forming step (S400) is a step of thermally fusing both ends of the woven composite 1 in the width direction at predetermined intervals along the length direction, and is preferably performed successively with the weaving step (S300).
In this modification step (S400), the transformation is performed only by heating / pressing without using a separate yarn using the characteristics of the thermoplastic film, not the conventional yarn-based yarn processing.
That is, the joined body manufactured through the weaving step S300 is applied to the
Therefore, when the portions where the warp yarns 10 contact with the
The composite 1 manufactured through the weaving step S300 described above is continuously manufactured and wound on the winding roller through the winding step S00 to be described later so that the
Since the composite 1 to be woven is continuously manufactured so as to be wound on the winding roller, in order to maximize the effect of the transformation, both end portions in the width direction of the woven composite 1 as shown in Fig. It is preferable to be thermally fused.
When the
Therefore, it is preferable to thermally fuse at a predetermined interval, rather than as a whole, and it is preferable to form spot-shaped fused portions by performing spot fusion as shown in Figs. 3 and 4.
On the other hand, the composite 1 in which the both ends are thermally fused can be manufactured in various widths as well as in length. It is also possible to use a composite 1 having a small size, If you need it, you can cut it out.
In this case, one end of each end of the composite 1 wound around the untrimmed end remains in a fused state, but the cut portion does not have a fused portion. In other words, when the user cuts only a part thereof, there is no fused portion at one end of the remaining portion, so that the composite portion 1 is loosened from the portion, and the composite 1 can not maintain the fabric shape.
Accordingly, not only the thermoplastic resin can be thermally fused at predetermined intervals along the longitudinal direction of the both ends of the composite 1 but also at a predetermined interval along the width direction. For example, when heat-sealing is performed at intervals of 10 cm along the longitudinal direction at both ends, a fused portion can be formed at intervals of 8 cm along the width direction.
At this time, it is preferable that the widthwise thermal fusion splitting interval is determined by dividing the length in the widthwise direction by a predetermined equal division.
This modification step (S400) can be carried out using a pair of fusing rolls capable of heating / pressing simultaneously on the upper side and the lower side of the woven composite 1. The pair of fusing rolls is formed to be longer than the length of the composite body 1, and is positioned facing away from each other, and the composite 1 woven between the pair of fusing rolls passes. A plurality of pressing protrusions are formed on the surface of the fusing roll at predetermined intervals and the upper and lower surfaces of the composite body 1 are pressed by the pressing protrusions when the composite body 1 passes between the pair of fusing rolls.
The pressing protrusions generate heat upon power supply and the portions where the
또한 PET(polyethylene terephthalate)는 250℃에서 녹기 시작하므로 가열온도는 255℃ 정도가 적합하다.At this time, the temperature generated in the pressing projection can be set according to the type of the thermoplastic film. For example, PP (polypropylene) begins to melt between 170 ° C and 180 ° C, so heating temperature is about 175 ° C. PA (polyamide resin) begins to melt between 220 ° C and 230 ° C, so the heating temperature is about 225 ° C Suitable. Also, PET (polyethylene terephthalate) starts to melt at 250 ° C, so that the heating temperature is preferably about 255 ° C.
The winding step S00 is a step of winding the composite 1 subjected to the thermal fusion using a winding roller into a roll shape and is preferably performed continuously with the weaving step S300 and the deforming step S400.
The finishing step S600 is a step of thermally fusing the longitudinal end portion of the composite 1 after the winding step S00 is completed to the surface of the wound composite 1.
This finishing step (S600) is preferably performed after stopping the rotation of the winding roller when the composite body (1) is wound on the winding roller by a predetermined amount. Since the cut end of the composite body (1) is cut, 1) to be loosened.
It is therefore desirable to attach the cut ends to the surface of the composite (1) roll in order to ensure that the rolled composite (1) rolls do not loose for transport / storage but remain in roll form.
Conventionally, a cut end is attached to the surface of the composite (1) roll using a tape or the like, but in the present invention, the cut end is thermally fused to adhere to the surface of the composite (1) roll.
In this finishing step (S600), since the composite (1) roll is in the wound state, heating / pressing in the downward direction is impossible. Therefore, when heated / pressed using a fusing roll only in the upper direction of the composite (1) roll, the surface of the roll of the wound composite (1) can be fused because it supports the cut end.
