Abstract

본 발명은 차량용 워터펌프의 로터조립체에 대한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 로터조립체가 가열되더라도 코어나 마그넷이 침수되는 것을 방지할 수 있는 차량용 워터펌프의 로터조립체에 대한 것이다.
본 발명에 따른 워터펌프용 로터조립체는 코어조립수단과, 샤프트와, 제1밸런스디스크와, 제2밸런스디스크 및 방수커버를 포함한다. 상기 코어조립수단은 코어와, 상기 코어의 외주면에 결합된 마그넷을 구비한다. 상기 샤프트는 상기 코어조립수단을 관통하도록 삽입되어 상기 코어 결합된다. 상기 제1밸런스디스크는 외주면을 따라 홈이 형성되고, 상기 샤프트의 축방향을 따라 상기 코어조립수단의 일측에 위치하도록 상기 샤프트에 결합된다. 상기 제2밸런스디스크는 외주면을 따라 홈이 형성되고, 상기 샤프트의 축방향을 따라 상기 코어조립수단의 타측에 위치하도록 상기 샤프트에 결합된다. 상기 방수커브는 상기 제1밸런스디스크 및 상기 제2밸런스디스크의 홈에 충진되고, 상기 제1밸런스디스크와 상기 제2밸런스디스크 및 상기 코어조립수단의 외주면을 감싸도록 결합된다.
본 발명에 의하면 제1밸런스디스크 및 제2밸런스디스크의 외주면에 원주방향을 따라 홈이 형성되고 방수커버가 상기 홈의 내부에 사출되어 형성된다. 이로인하여 로터조립체가 가열되더라도 방수커버가 밸런스디스크 보다 열팽창률이 높으므로 방수커버가 밸런스디스크의 홈 내부를 밀폐시켜서 코어 내부로 물이 침투하는 것을 방지할 수 있다.
