Description
The present invention relates to a transparent electric sign board and a method of manufacturing the same.
BACKGROUND ART [0002] In recent years, transparent electronic signboards have been widely used for lighting, indoor and outdoor billboards, and signboards. Such a transparent electric display panel is formed by patterning electrodes on a glass substrate and connecting the light emitting elements between the electrodes. Since both ends of the electrode are connected to the anode and the cathode of the light emitting element, light is emitted when the light emitting element is connected.
Here, various manufacturing processes are required, such as forming a mask and depositing an electrode material to pattern the electrode. Accordingly, the manufacturing process is complicated and the process cost is increased. Also, electrodes typically comprise indium tin oxide (ITO), which has the disadvantage of high cost and heavy weight.
Therefore, there is a need for a substitute electrode material and a transparent electric signboard capable of forming an electrode by a simple process using such a substitute electrode material.
The embodiments are intended to provide a transparent electric signboard which can be manufactured in a simple and low-cost manner, and a method of manufacturing the same.
A transparent electronic signboard according to an embodiment includes: a substrate including at least one recess; An electrode formed in the concave portion; And a light emitting element electrically connected to the electrode.
A method of manufacturing a transparent electric signboard according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: preparing a substrate; Forming a recess in the substrate; Forming an electrode on the concave portion; And mounting the light emitting device on the substrate so as to be electrically connected to the electrode.
In the transparent electric display board according to the embodiment, the concave portion is formed in the substrate and the electrode is formed in the concave portion, so that the patterning work for forming the electrode can be omitted. This can reduce manufacturing process and manufacturing costs. Further, when the electrode is formed in the concave portion, it can be formed of another substitute electrode material which can replace the conventional indium tin oxide.
In the method of manufacturing a transparent electronic signboard according to an embodiment, the transparent electronic signboard of the above-described type can be formed by a simple printing process using a substitute electrode material.
